This fun and easy Patriotic Dunkaroo Dip recipe uses everyday kitchen staples to create a delicious dessert or snack your family will love. You can find all of the ingredients at your local grocery store.

All you need is:

  • whipped topping
  • patriotic funfetti cake mix
  • cream cheese
  • some milk
  • a few patriotic sprinkles
  • cookies & strawberries

Patriotic Dunkaroo Dip

In a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, heat the patriotic funfetti cake mix for 1 minute and 30 seconds in the microwave to heat treat the flour.

Patriotic Dunkaroo Dip

Then combine whipped topping, cream cheese, sprinkles & milk with the heated patriotic funfetti cake mix.

The dip may turn a light red/pink due to the sprinkles getting wet! Mix well.

Transfer to a serving dish and cover with sprinkles. Serve with cookies & strawberries and dunk away!!

You can serve a wide variety of cookies with your Dunkaroo Dip.

I suggest sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, sandwich cookies, graham crackers, Teddy Grahams, or animal crackers.

Fruit-like strawberries and cut-up apple slices would work great with this yummy dip.

You can find patriotic sprinkles at any major grocery store or online through Amazon and Etsy.

A small container of patriotic-themed sprinkles will cost around $10.

You can always keep these special sprinkles in your pantry and use them every holiday.

You can find patriotic funfetti cake mix at any major grocery store around the 4th of July holiday.

You can also purchase some online through Amazon.

If you can’t find any patriotic funfetti cake mix simply use regular funfetti cake mix and add extra patriotic sprinkles

Yes, you can easily make Patriotic Dunkaroo Dip ahead of time. Simply keep the dip stored in an airtight container in your refrigerator until ready to serve.
