How do you make a red, white, and blue striped cake?

You’ll need to make a white cake from scratch or use a white cake box mix. Once the cake batter has been made, you’ll separate the cake batter into three bowls.

One bowl will remain a white cake mix, while another bowl will need red food coloring, and the third will use blue food coloring.

Use your judgment with food coloring so that the hue of each color matches your vision for your patriotic bundt cake.

Once you’re satisfied with the red, white, and blue cake batter it’s time to grease your Bundt pan.

You’ll start laying the red, white, and blue cake batter starting with the red batter, then white batter, and finally the blue cake batter.

Tap the Bundt pan on the counter to allow cake batter to settle and then bake according to recipe instructions.
