Home Project Idea for 2017 plus $50 Lowes GC Giveaway

Living Room 2017 

During the last five months, we have been doing some remolding in the house, and it has been an adventure, but so worth it!  We revamped a couple of the bedrooms so far, but now we want to do something for the whole family.  Our Living Room needs some love so that will be our next room to re-do!  We have been searching for furniture and decided on this Sectional , Rug, and Tables. I also included on my mood board the Olympic Paints colors I want for the walls.  I want a little bit of color of Sea Sprite and Delicate White on the walls.

With our previous projects, we found some PAINT TIPS that might help! 

1. Put down canvas/drop cloth on the floor to prevent paint spills on the floor.  Don’t use sheets they will bleed through. 
2. Give your roller a nice warm water wash before starting painting with water-based paint.  The paint will go on a lot easier. 
3. When using a roller make sure you roll over the edge of the previous stroke to avoid a mark.
4. Always finish one wall before starting another, it’s not a good idea to do the edges of all walls first, you won’t get a consistent finish. 
5. Once you open a tin of paint, wrap a rubber band lengthways around the entire tin., so it’s across the opening at the top. Use it wipe the excess paint from your brush.
