Summer is HERE, and I promised my daughter we would redo her room. First of all, is the PLANNING. Rather than just jumping right into it, you need to PLAN and figure out what you are going to do and how you are going to do it. So we have some tools, places, and ideas to share with you!

OUR MOODBOARD:
Next step we did was make a MOOD BOARD. This will help put everything together. We can see all aspects of the room, the colors, the materials and then can take that with us to Lowe’s to make sure we are getting what we wanted. We have the paint colors we want, the flooring, the bedroom set, and the comforter set we will be getting.
Most of all my daughter is super excited to get her room redone for many reasons. First, she is older and wants to design it herself, teenagers! Also, she has Asthma, and the carpet in her room is old and needs to go. We feel having a hardwood floor will help out a lot with the Asthma, so we let her pick what flooring she wanted too. She had fun picking out colors and designs. She told me the best part of planning was visiting the new Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center exclusively at Lowe’s.
