This post is brought to you by The Motherhood and Olympic Paint~ thank you!
Summer is HERE, and I promised my daughter we would redo her room. First of all, is the PLANNING. Rather than just jumping right into it, you need to PLAN and figure out what you are going to do and how you are going to do it. So we have some tools, places, and ideas to share with you!
The best place to start is the color you want for the room. So my favorite store Lowe’s has this awesome Olympic® Paint Visualizer tool that you can upload a photo of your room then after a few clicks you can give your room a digital makeover with any Olympic Paint color. After doing the tool, we headed to Lowe’s to get paint samples of the colors we found in the Olympic® Paint Visualizer tool. We got some affordable samples and took them home to see how they look before we bought all the paint. Lowe’s is there to help us decorate with confidence.
Lowe’s even have a pledge: Lowe’s Paint Pledge Program: Paint with Confidence Lowe’s has your back with their paint pledge, and they’ll do whatever it takes to help you find the perfect paint. Even to the point, they will refund customers who are dissatisfied with their paint for any reason, as long as the customer returns the paint in its original container within 30 days. Even if the cause for return is unhappy with the quality or color, among others. Valid on the interior and exterior liquid paint purchases 4/3/16-8/9/16 Read more about PAINT DISCLAIMER HERE.
Next step we did was make a MOOD BOARD. This will help put everything together. We can see all aspects of the room, the colors, the materials and then can take that with us to Lowe’s to make sure we are getting what we wanted. We have the paint colors we want, the flooring, the bedroom set, and the comforter set we will be getting.
Most of all my daughter is super excited to get her room redone for many reasons. First, she is older and wants to design it herself, teenagers! Also, she has Asthma, and the carpet in her room is old and needs to go. We feel having a hardwood floor will help out a lot with the Asthma, so we let her pick what flooring she wanted too. She had fun picking out colors and designs. She told me the best part of planning was visiting the new Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center exclusively at Lowe’s.
SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL THE COLORS ARE:
As her mom, planning was helpful but I wanted to make sure we were getting the best paint for our home, and I believe Olympic Paints is engineered to endure, and it is empowering us to create beauty in our home. So I’m a bit jealous, looking at all these beautiful colors from the light pastels to dark accent notes, the new Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center has the right shade for everyone. I found several I want and my room would be next.
The Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center is exclusively at Lowe’s. You only have to go to ONE PLACE to browse paints and stains in one location. The colors are organized to make finding and comparing shades easier than ever. With Olympic Paints and Stains, you can trust that your home’s colors will look great and last for years to come. It was super easy to redo my daughter’s room with the confidence that we were making the right choices.
The room brochures are arranged to allow shopping in 3 ways: Color (through the chips); Lifestyle (through the lifestyle brochures); Project (room and project brochures)
