This post is brought to you by The Motherhood and Olympic Paint~ thank you!
It is spring time and what a wonderful time to make a little home improvement around the house. It’s not too hot or too cold so this time of the year is perfect. We have already worked on the kitchen and living room, so the master bedroom is next. I spend a lot of time in my room so I would like to make it a place that is relaxing and serene. My private getaway is really what I want.
First thing, I need to do is pick out COLORS that will be my starting point then I can work on what else I would like in the room. What I want is a grown-up bedroom that matches and flows nicely. I need to plan this out and so I’m going to make a mood board to help with my thoughts and wants! Time to go to Lowes! Oh, I love this store and I know exactly where I am heading to first….the Olympic Paints and Stain Color Center Display.
HINT: You can even try a sample to make sure you do LIKE it on the wall. I know I’ve got paint before that I love in the store and then went to do the project and didn’t like how the color looked painted on, so I highly recommend trying it out first before buying all your paint.
Oh my goodness, I was so impressed with this display of inspiration that I’ve been dreaming of colors in my sleep. So many beautiful colors to choose from and color combinations. From light pastels to dark accent notes, the new Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center has the right shade for everyone. I was in pure AWE when I first saw the display plus I was inspired just by looking at all the paint colors available.
Room brochures are arranged to allow shopping in 3 ways: Color (through the chips); Lifestyle (through the lifestyle brochures); Project (room and project brochures). I also know the Olympic Paint is engineered to endure which is empowering me to create beauty in my home.
Check out my MOOD BOARD:
I made my mood board to stay focused and to know the color and items I want in my bedroom. This helps with inspiration and matching pieces with my paint choices. I’m looking at this Lamp and the Shylyn Queen Panel Bed with Storage from Ashley Furniture. I also love the Bedding from Bed Bath and Beyond, it matches my colors from Olympic Paints so well! Now I can’t have just bedding. I need Decorative pillows from Pier 1. All these items are on my above mood board picture.
Next year we will be painting the exterior of our house, so I’m already getting inspiration with all theses beautiful colors.
When I got to the store I had no idea what I wanted but when I started playing around with color combinations, I walked out with what I wanted. I have a plan now, and it starts with the PAINT! I can’t wait to get his project started. Exclusively at Lowe’s, the Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center allows people to browse paints and stains in one place. The colors are organized to make finding and comparing shades easier than ever. With Olympic Paints and Stains, you can trust that your home’s colors will look great and last for years to come. No matter what color you are looking for, the Olympic Paints and Stains Color Center makes it easy to find it.
