The Shimmer And Shine DVD Is Bright And Beautiful
My granddaughter absolutely loves Shimmer and Shine. She watches every episode that comes on Nickelodeon. When I told her I received the Shimmer and Shine: Beyond The Rainbow Falls DVD, she could not wait for me to bring it over. We put the DVD into my laptop and started our movie night. The colors in these episodes were so pretty! You can imagine with names like “Shimmer” and “Shine”, well, they sparkle very brightly. Since my granddaughter watches it all of the time, she was singing along with everything. It is a total of 93 minutes, and it is so much fun! You will find yourself singing along, once you learn the songs. Don’t worry, if you have kids, they will teach you.

Being a parent can be overwhelming at times, but these stories can help. Just like a good book can teach them good values, so can Shimmer and Shine. They talk about being a great friend, how to treat others, and so many other great ways to be a good person.
My granddaughter will sit and watch with me, but she will also ask me questions. I like when she does this. I can make sure she is understanding the content correctly. Plus it is a great way to bring us together. It makes a child feel good when you answer any questions they may have, or at least try to. Sometimes we even dress up like Shimmer and Shine. I just use some old “dress up” clothing I have and we escape with our imaginations. We fly through the air on our magic carpet.
