Other Dollar Store Valentine Craft Ideas

Pizza Pan Craft

For this craft, you will need a pizza pan, craft paper, hot glue gun, a “Love” sign (a ready-made wooden one or you can make one out of craft paper), battery-operated firefly lights (or led lights), a ribbon or bow.

The easiest valentine’s craft I have ever come across.

You just need to do 3 things:

  1. Hot glue some craft paper to your pizza pan.
  2. Then add a sign that says “Love.”
  3. Finish by adding some battery-operated firefly lights and ribbons or a bow.
  4. Burlap Wreath

You will need a wire heart frame, a nautical rope, a wired burlap ribbon in red and beige, and a few little flowers for decoration.

Here are the instructions for this craft:

  1. Wrap and glue your nautical rope in the center of the wreath. Once complete, cut the end of the nautical rope with pliers and secure it with glue.
  2. Cut about 30 six-inch pieces from your red burlap ribbon. Fold each piece in half and cut on the diagonal to form dovetails.
  3. Glue these around the rope in the center until complete.
  4. Repeat this process with the beige ribbon and then finish by hot-gluing some flowers in the corner
  5. Heart Centerpieces

You will need some pails, floral foam, glue, faux grass, and wooden heart sticks.

Fill the pails with floral foam. Then, hot glue some faux grass or moss on top of this.

Then you can hot glue your heart sticks to this to finish.

Love Blocks or Dice

You will need dice or blocks (wooden, plastic, or foam), letter stencils or stickers, acrylic paint, and some foam sheet.

Decorate your dice or wooden blocks with letter stencils or stickers with words like love, kiss, hope, etc.

This will make a great home décor after Valentine’s Day.

Hang Themed Valentine Pictures on The Wall

You will need picture frames (you can also use old ones and upcycle them), wooden pegs, and some Valentine-themed graphics.

Put them up on the wall for a customized Valentine’s Day home décor in your family room.

DIY Valentine Banner

You can use cheap gift bags or upcycle the ones in your home and create a DIY Valentine garland or banner!

You can hang this on your mantelpiece, on your bookshelf, or on your wall. A DIY valentine home décor!

Create these cheap but cute Valentine’s Day crafts with your kids and enjoy your heart’s day giving that extra shot of love through personalized gifts.
