I love to read, as does the majority of my family. So I always have books under the tree for people on my holiday list. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.
Give the Gift of a Good Book to Everyone on Your Holiday List
Whether you have adult readers, or children on your list, I have some great titles for you. I have even have a book regarding paranormal and ghost voices. (Halloween is coming, and what a wonderful book to get you into the spooky spirit.)
Let’s start with the spooky
I love all things paranormal (I was part of a local paranormal research team for years,) so Ghost Box: Voices from Spirits, Et’s, Shadow People, & Other Astral Beings by Chris and Paulette Moon is automatically on the top of this list. In their book, this awesome couple shares spiritual contacts they have made during various paranormal investigations. I can tell you from experience, capturing an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) is both creepy and exhilarating at the same time. There’s nothing like sitting in a pitch dark home, and asking questions, only to play it back and hear a response. If you or someone on you list loves the paranormal, then you have to get them this book!
For the kids
Veronica and the Volcano by Geoffrey Cook is a fantastic adventure with a young heroine. This book is perfect for children in fourth to sixth grade. While entertaining these young readers, it also teaches them about science. Veronica is a ten-year old girl who lives on the slope of an active volcano. Follow this young girl as she faces pyroclastic flows, mobs, and pirates.
For the adults
Full Service Blonde by Megan Edwards is a mystery for the adults. Victoria is a Las Vegas prostitute that isn’t afraid to tell her story. She grants journalist Copper Black, the rights to tell her story. The only problem is, Victoria is found dead in the Nevada desert. Copper juggles her boyfriend, family, and work, all while trying to solve this murder. To find out if someone gets away with murder, then you need a copy of this book.
