Lobster Festival and Tournament, Sept. 17-23, 2018 
Schooners sets the stage for the largest lobster festival in Florida as the 29thAnnual Lobster Festival & Tournament gives divers a chance to compete and attendees a chance to enjoy dozens of amazing dishes. Tournament participants compete in a variety of categories including Spiny lobster, Shovelnose lobster and Big 6. Weigh-ins begin on Saturday and end Sunday with grand prizes and a lobster feast. The popular Sand Sculpting Contest is now in its 18th year and takes place on the beach behind Schooners. For more information, visit

Bluegrass at the Beach, Sept. 28-29, 2018

This annual festival, in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Bay County, will take part at Aaron Bessant Park in Pier Park for the first time. Featured acts will include folk and bluegrass bands from all over the southeast and as far away as Canada. Pirates of the High Seas Festival, Oct. 5-7, 2018
Columbus Day weekend will bring a wave of fun-filled adventures to Panama City Beach with the Pirates of the High Seas Fest. Taking place throughout the coastal community, this free festival will feature live music, pirate parades, pirate costumes, an 8,000-foot beach ball drop from the sky, fireworks and more! Panama City Beach Oktoberfest, Oct. 12-14 2018

Taking place at Aaron Bessant Park iPier Park, Panama City Beach’s Oktoberfest will feature two days of German and locally brewed beer, food, music and activities for kids and families. Not-to-be-missed will be a massive 150’x50′ tent decorated like the authentic Oktoberfest tent in Munich, Germany, two outdoor beer gardens and a VIP section under the tent. Bloody Mary & Music Festival, Oct. 20, 2018

For the 3rd Annual Bloody Mary & Music Festival, up to 20 local vendors will compete in this friendly but fierce competition to determine who makes the best Bloody Mary on the beach. The winner will be crowned the “Big Tomato” and will be awarded the four-foot, tomato-topped trophy to keep until next year’s event. Thunder Beach Autumn Motorcycle Rally, Oct. 24-28, 2018 

Known as “The Most Biker Friendly Free Rally in the United States,” Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally is held twice yearly in Panama City Beach the first weekend in May and mid-October. Three Sisters Native American Festival and Pow Wow, Nov. 2 – 4 

Celebrate Native American History Month with a powwow featuring competition dancing, demonstrations, native arts and craft vendors and food. Ironman Florida, Nov. 3, 2018

What began as a challenge between groups of Navy SEALS has become one of the most recognized endurance events in the world. The Ironman consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run, with the Florida edition of the challenge serving as one of the most popular races on the circuit.
