Aliens Ate My Homework is a Cute Movie on DVD, Digital, and On-Demand Now!
Aliens Ate My Homework is a very cute movie that is now out on DVD, Digital, and On-Demand. The movie is about a sixth grader and his cousin that find a collection of tiny aliens. They end up helping these little guys get the one bad alien (who is hiding out on Earth). I won’t ruin the suspense for you, but it is a great movie that kids (I would say between ages 7 up to 14) would absolutely love! It may be a little too scary for anyone younger than that. It depends on your child and their maturity level.
This wonderful movie actually comes from Rod Allbright and the Galactic Patrol series by Bruce Coville. The movie will show children suspense, kindness, lots of laughs, and tons of imagination. It features the voice of William Shatner as Phil (one of the aliens). I wasn’t sure I would like it, but I was very pleasantly surprised! It turns out I do like Sci-Fi/Humor. I really liked the way they made the aliens look so small compared to their surroundings. For a children’s movie, they did a good job! I wanted to show my granddaughter the DVD, but she is only 5 years old, and I think she is too young for it.
Very Cool Solar System Kit
The Solar System Kit you can buy separately (I will have a link) is a 30 piece 3D Model. It comes with glow-in-the-dark paints and stars. It says that “set up time” is only 5 minutes, but I looked at it, and I would say it may take a little longer than that. You use the paint on the planets to make it glow the way you would like it to. So if you want Earth to glow, but not Jupiter, that is up to you. One thing I really don’t like is that they didn’t include Pluto! I think they should have given you it in the kit, and you could make up your own mind to use it or not. I still consider it a planet. Just my opinion!
The planets in the solar system kit click on to each other like an egg that you put candy in. It isn’t the most rugged and well put together kit, but it isn’t expensive either. I love that it came with everything you need. It even comes with the elastic string needed to hang it up, and my favorite thing…instructions!
If you look at the pictures on this page, you will notice that I received some pretty cool things. They sent a folder with masks to cut out, the book of “Aliens Ate My Homework”, the DVD, a code for the Digital movie, and they even sent a code for the album download.
