One recipe my family loves is this Air Fryer Rotisserie Chicken and Cheese Taquito recipe. The store-bought Taquitos are not tasty at all! I know when I tried them, they tasted like cardboard. So I decided to come up with a recipe of my own, so I could make them for the family. The best part is they are not fried but taste just as good! Air Fryer Rotisserie Chicken and Cheese Taquitos Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups shredded chicken

6 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup sour cream

3/4 cup Monterey jack cheese (or cheddar, if preferred)

12 tortillas (corn or small flour or both)

½  teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon  garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1.       In a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and beat until fluffy.

2.       Add seasonings and sour cream and mix until combined.

3.       Add cheese and chicken to the mixture bowl, and mix again.

4.       Put about 2 tablespoons of filling into each tortilla, then wrap them up tight, leaving about an inch of filling-free space at each end.

5.       Place tortillas in fryer basket; avoid stacking them on one another.

6.       Bake in air fryer at 400 degrees for 12 – 15 minutes or until taquitos begin to brown and outsides are crispy.
