This year I’ll be turning 50 years old, and the one thing I promised myself is I want to live a healthier lifestyle. I want to make better choices in all aspects of my life. Do you ever feel like you need a change and want better for yourself?

In my house, I’m the one who is trying to live a healthier lifestyle, so I’m working on my food choices. Am I trying to lose weight, well yes but changing how and what I eat is also essential. I can choose the smart options and have the flexibility to enjoy more delicious recipes and foods to reach my goals.
My Snack Choices
I work from home, so of course, I make myself breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus snacks. I’ll be honest it is usually the snacks that get me. BBQ Sandwiches were a HIT!
The other night I surprised my family with a meal that I knew I would enjoy but I wasn’t quite sure about them, but they loved it! I made BBQ chicken sandwiches with salad, and homemade french fries (in the Air Fryer). So yes, I can sneak in little changes like bread choices without getting my family upset that I’m making them eat diet food. Someday they will understand it’s all about choices.
When I make sandwiches I will use the Oroweat® Sandwich Thins rolls endorsed by Weight Watchers®. These rolls are an excellent source of fiber.
