Welcome To A New Coffee Community
Honestly, some of us just can’t function correctly throughout the day without coffee. It has become a huge must-have for many people across the US. There are so many coffee brands that are available, and most you’ve gotten the chance to try. Although, if you haven’t got to experience Melitta Coffee, then you are missing out big time!

Melitta premium coffees are made using the traditional, time-honored roasting method of fire roasting small batches of the best beans. In fact, the processes that they use are unique to the company itself, which is simply incredible. From the signature Classic blend to the rich and indulgent flavored coffees, Melitta’s unique quality is evident in every sip.

Now, this isn’t just a company behind great coffee, but they also offer the unique Pour-Over™ Coffeemaker! It’s designed with a medium-size drip opening provides a consistent brew and eliminates the risk of bitterness. I mean who wants to drink bitter coffee in the morning anyway? It also has a ring underneath drip opening that directs coffee flow into the mug and prevents runoff. Just imagine how much easier it will be to brew with this!
Brewing Tips

So, what’s the secret to a really great cup of coffee? Melitta’s got a few simple tricks to help perfect your brew-at-home skills!
- Buy coffee weekly or bi-monthly. Once opened, ground coffee begins to stale in about 24 hours. To slow this process, store coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place.
- For the fullest flavor, buy (or grind your own) extra fine grind coffee. When using finer grinds, it’s possible to use less coffee due to higher extraction levels. We recommend 2 level teaspoons per 6 ounces of water.
- Use paper filters to effectively trap bitter sediments. Cone shaped filters allow for full saturation of the grounds, but all good, quality paper will ultimately enhance the final cup.
- Drink coffee as soon as possible after brewing. If left on a burner, the coffee will continue to cook and starts to degrade in as little as 20 minutes.
- For the single-serve coffee drinker, never sacrifice flavor and quality for convenience. Be sure to buy eco-friendly, as well.
With knowing about all of this plus about a brand that’s here to stay, your mornings are going to get pretty interesting. So be sure to check out all of the information I have for you above.
