It can be hard to find a vacation rental on a beautiful beach, especially when it’s on that is Pet-Friendly! This is particularly true at highly sought after popular locations that feature spectacular scenery and abundant amenities. South Walton, near Destin, Florida, is one of those places with unique bright white sugary sand composed of pure powdery quartz crystal and the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico that literally glows with magical luminescent tones of emerald green. However such places like this can be found, and these two beachfront condos have it all for you and your fur baby! Each beachfront condo includes two bedrooms, and one of them can accommodate six happy guests with the use of a queen sized sleeper sofa.
Both vacation rentals are located at a three-level Mediterranean styled residential building called Capistrano in Seacrest Beach along Scenic 30A. This exclusive little residential enclave is perched high upon a sugary dune with panoramic views of the glittering gulf that extend as far as one may see into the sunny southern horizon. Each one of these privately owned vacation rentals is beautifully decorated in a beach chic fashion that dovetails seamlessly into the creation of a wonderful ambiance. Furnishings are all tastefully upscale with an eye towards comfort. An open design concept incorporates the living, dining and kitchen areas with a wall of sliding glass doors that frame the stellar views. Serene colors throughout are accented by a wide assortment of decorative art that provides a fabulous Floridian feel. The first-floor unit (Capistrano 101) has a covered open patio that faces a lush lawn bordered by indigenous tropical plantings beside the top of the dune that has stairs leading down to the sugary shore. The glorious gulf serves as a stunning backdrop. The other vacation rental residence on the second floor (Capistrano 203) has fantastic vistas of the gulf from a balcony. You’ll probably want to spend a lot of time there sipping favorite tropical drinks, enjoying spectacular sunsets or magical moonlight over the water and listening to the soothing surf sounds when the waves are high.
This convenient location is in a wonderful world of its own but just minutes away from the picturesque coastal villages of Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and Rosemary Beach. They all offer a wide variety of great restaurants, friendly beach bars, art galleries, specialty shops, outdoor musical concerts and fun family-friendly festivals. Pets are more than welcome to join you on a leash on these lovely excursions to sniff the sniffs! Quite a few restaurants are now pet-friendly in South Walton for café, deck or patio dining and many will bring a cold bowl of water or treat for your precious pal. You must be a local resident with a permit to be able to walk on the beach with your dog, but nearby Alaqua Unleashed Park has lots of room to allow them to roam around without a leash. Your four-legged family member will love it!
