Today, I’ve got an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make the most adorable Mummy Candy Cups.
They’re great for serving all the sweet stuff during Halloween parties.
Plus, they’re SO simple to make – even your kiddos will have a blast helping you put these together.
My Mummy Candy Cups require very few supplies to complete. In fact, you may already have a lot of them in your craft drawer!
If not, a simple trip to your local dollar store is all you’ll need to make this “spooky” DIY.

- Hot glue gun + glue sticks

MUMMY CANDY CUP SUPPLIES
These quick and easy Candy Cups use easy to find materials to create a fun Halloween craft your family will love.
All you need is:
- paper cup, preferably in black or white (8 oz. each)
- white streamers
- a few googly eyes
MUMMY CANDY CUP INSTRUCTIONS
First, cut white streamers into strips, about 9 inches long.
Next, to create a thin strip, take that 9-inch streamer and cut it in half, lengthwise.
Gently, wrap white streamers around the cup, using the hot glue gun to secure it.
I recommend adding a dot of glue to each end of the streamer to attach.
Don’t worry about the “wraps” looking uneven. The best part about this project is that the more “unruly” it looks, the better!
Near the top of the cup, using your hot glue gun, attach 2 googly eyes, for the mummy’s eyes.
Fill up with your favorite candy.
In as little as 3 minutes, you’ll have an adorable Halloween craft that’s sure to become a new favorite!

HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO MAKE MUMMY CANDY CUPS?
This Halloween candy holder is so fast to make you could easily whip up a large batch of them for a party.
This Mummy Candy Cup craft takes approximately 3 minutes to create each cup. TOTAL.
This includes:
- About 1 minute to measure and cut the streamer
- Close to 1 minute to attach the white streamer to the cup
- Around 1 minute to attach the googly eyes

Yes, you can use a red cup instead of a black cup to make Mummy Candy Cups. The steps will be the same. As for the look of the finished craft, however, in my opinion, the white or black cups look the best.
WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS MUMMY CANDY CUP CRAFT?
This simple Mummy Candy Cup craft is not only easy, but it’s also incredibly versatile. Try adding white cloth strips over the cups, with green tulle inside the cup.
