Have Dry Skin Due To Our Winter Weather? Try Zincuta!

Winter weather can be harsh on the skin. And, once the skin is cracked or broken, it oftentimes hurts and can feel like it takes forever for it to heal. Well, Zincuta may be able to help you. What is Zincuta? According to the product’s website, their ointment “is a specialty skin cream that brings relief and heals skin afflictions (chafes, burns, sun burns, abrasions, raw sores, insect bites, psoriasis, eczema, poison ivy, etc.). The completely new patented Zincuta Ointment was inspired by the works of veterinarian Dr. Josiah C. Case (1865 – 1930), an eighth generation Southold resident with an impeccable reputation. A very effective and successful remedy.”

According to the company, Zincuta has antibacterial and antiseptic properties and it can help soothe the skin and relieve soreness. And, according to the website, “It begins its curative action at once . . . it penetrates, softens, soothes, protects & heals all surface skin afflictions, (and) it is made with the highest quality natural ingredients.”

What’s The Recipe?

Zincuta has been sold for 40 years, so it’s formulation has been around for a long time. What exactly is Zincuta’s recipe? The ointment contains the following ingredients: axungia, zinc oxide, styrax benzoin, beeswax, slippery elm, and essential oils of wintergreen, lavender, and bergamot.

The consistency of Zincuta is smooth and soft. And, a little goes a long way. It also has the pleasant, subtle smell of wintergreen.

The reviews and testimonials for this product are pretty great. You can read them for yourself on the Zincuta website and on Amazon. At the time I’m writing this post, Zincuta’s rating is a 4.5 out of 5 on Amazon. In my opinion, that’s a great review.
