Gayle Leeson’s “Kinsey Falls” Books Are oh so Sweet and Interesting

Gayle Leeson’s “Kinsey Falls” Books Will Make Perfect Holiday Gifts

Book One:  Hightail it to Kinsey Falls

If you are looking for a very interesting, funny, sweet, lighthearted story you need look no further.  This first book of the series surprised me a little bit because I wasn’t expecting to be so involved in it.  It is a short story (fiction), about Jade Burt (the main character), her meddling grandmother Millie, and cutie, Caleb Young.  What’s a story without a sweet, young man?  Oh my, I can’t forget the cute, little baby possum “Perry” that brought everyone together.  Gayle definitely has a way of writing that makes you invested in every character.

Gayle Leeson's "Kinsey Falls" Books Are Oh So Interesting

The story takes place in kind of a strange place.  It’s an old shopping mall that they have made into apartments and retail space called The Kinsey Falls Living and Retail Community Center.  Pretty interesting if you ask me.  The apartments house young professionals (YP’s) on one side and on the other are the “golden oldies”.  In addition to that, there is a place for businesses too.  As a matter of fact, Jade has her own knitting business (Nothin’ But Knit).  Jade is a little boring and certainly not looking for love.  Her grandmother Millie has other plans though.  After a chance encounter with Caleb and the baby possum, grandma decides Jade and Caleb need to meet!

What follows is a wonderful story about helping others and learning to let go a little.  Of course, there is also love because, how boring would that be without it?  I believe you will enjoy this story as much as I did!

Book Two:  Putting Down Roots in Kinsey Falls

The second book in the series is just as sweet and interesting.  This story, however, follows Joanne Faraday, a young professional who seems very mysterious to a certain Greta Parker.  Who is this lady?  She is actually the friend of Millie (the meddling grandmother from the first book).  Millie, of course, thinks she has been reading too many mysteries.  Greta and her “silver sleuths” (love that name) decide that they are somehow qualified to investigate.  Joanne actually comes to Kinsey Falls to find her birth parents.

Don’t worry, some of the same characters are still here in the second book!  Both books will keep your interest until the very end.

Do you have a friend or loved one that loves to read?  Remember them as the holidays creep up on us!  Books make wonderful gifts.
