Casseroles are the classic American meal and I couldn’t be happier. The idea of throwing around your favorite ingredients and allow them to bake with one another is mouthwatering.
As always, chicken is a key ingredient in our kitchen. Chicken breasts, in particular, are our number one choice because of its health benefits.
For tonight’s meal, I wanted to put together a creamy chicken casserole. My Chicken and Broccoli Casserole is loaded with fusilli pasta and a generous serving of milk and cream.

Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
3 ½ cups fusilli pasta
4 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1 cup milk
½ cup cooking cream (15%)
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 cup broccoli
1 can cream of chicken soup
Yields: 4-6 servings
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. In a pot with boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
On a non-stick frying pan, cook chicken cubes over medium heat for about 8 minutes or until lightly cooked.
In a casserole dish, place cooked pasta and chicken as the first layer. Evenly pour milk over the pasta and chicken and follow with the cooking cream. Dot with butter.
On top of your chicken layer, add garlic and broccoli. Pour cream of chicken on top. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
