“Holiday Me Time”

THIS BLOG HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY NATURE’S BOUNTY® EARTHLY ELEMENTS™~ products were provided to me free by NBTY for review

I’m already feeling the pressure of the holidays, mainly because I’m so busy.  On top of regular errands, I have shopping, parties, holiday meal prep, work, blogging, friend meetings, and the three birthdays we have in the house in December.  Trying to fit in ME TIME is especially hard during the holiday season but it is needed. This is the time you need it the most so here are some steps in getting and enjoying ME TIME. I also have some help from  Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™- thank you for…

Items to grab for your “ME TIME.”

  • Good Book
  • Tea/Coffee
  • Essential Oils
  • Diffuser
  • Ear Plugs

Now head to a part of the house (or car…don’t judge) that you can relax and not be disturbed.  You will have to tell your family some rules like “don’t disturb” “I’ll be back in 30 minutes (I say an hour) just make it clear you need this time and will appreciate them respecting your time. Figure out what essential oils you need, see chart below.

Nature’s Bounty® is here to help busy women find balance and their own “me time” during the holidays, with Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ 100% pure and blended aromatherapy essential oils. Essential oils can set moods and enhance the smell of your home, bath, and office. Use them in an aromatherapy diffuser, add a few drops to your bath for a spa-like experience, or mix with a carrier oil for massages. Each essential oil has its unique aroma and “personality,” just like people, so everyone’s “me time” is their own.

If you have never used essential oils, you are missing out!  Essential oils are the extracted oil from plants that are known to have traditional usages for various aromatherapy needs that incorporate the mind and body. Essential oils are used in a variety of ways. I use most of my oils in a diffuser.

Here are some ways essential oils can be used:

  • Create a moisturizing massage oil for skin when combined with Sweet Almond carrier oil
  • Add directly to a bath to create a spa-like experience
  • Create a refreshing or soothing aroma by adding a few drops to Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ aromatherapy diffuser
  • Blend different oils together to create new scents

There are ten essential oils and 1 Sweet Almond carrier oil in Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ line plus the aromatherapy diffuser. They have everything you need and so next time you are at Walmart check out the full Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ line in the Vitamin Aisle or online at Earthlyelements.com. The most popular oils are Lavender, Peppermint, and Eucalyptus.  Also, remember these oils are not ingesting essential oils topical use only. The oils are indeed pure. However, Jasmine and Chamomile are considered blends as they include Sweet Almond oil.

Time to pick your oil you want to use during your ME TIME- I chose Chamomile for the calming effect and Lavender for the clarity feeling.  I love the smell of those two scents, so I can enjoy my 30 minutes of peace. I need my ME Time once a week! My family benefits too because I’m not so stressed when I can de-stress with Nature’s Bounty® Earthly Elements™ .

  • Grapefruit: tangy, clean, refreshing
  • Chamomile: calming, nurturing, soothing
  • Patchouli: earthy, woody, sweet
  • Lavender: soothing, comforting, clarity
  • Jasmine:  comforting, passionate, warm
  • Peppermint:  stimulating, vitalizing, cooling
  • Rosemary: tonifying, clarifying, warm
  • Lemongrass: sweet, uplifting, refreshing
  • Eucalyptus: cooling, calming, balancing
  • Thrive:   earthy, woody, cleansing, purifying

Now, remember these are available at Walmart stores everywhere, Earthly Elements™ are also great for holiday gifting, where you can “give the gift” of aromatherapy and “me time” to friends, family members, and coworkers.
