Where to Go for the Spookiest Halloween Ever In South Carolina

Halloween is just around the corner and with this comes the desire to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever. There are many places you can go in and around the South Carolina area to have a spooky Halloween. Today I’m featuring a few places in and around South Carolina where you can go to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever.

SCarowinds, Fort Mill

In October, Carowinds turns into SCarowinds for 20 nights of terror. This is a fabulous way to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever. There are haunted mazes and scare zones that are filled with zombies, monsters and other creepy things to make this a great place to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever.

Haunted Jail Tour, Charleston

You can go all out and get super spooked by going on a haunted jail tour in Charleston, SC. There are tours offered behind The Old City Jail where some of the most noteworthy criminals were housed back between the years of 1802 and 1939. Enjoy walking the original halls for a spooky tour.

The Big Boo and Nighttime Wagon Rides at Stewart Farms, Enoree

This is more of a kid-friendly spooky option for Halloween where you can go to the pumpkin patch, and enjoy a fun corn maze adventure. There is a lighter side corn maze or a spookier one called Big Boo maze. At night, enjoy a right on the nightmare wagon.

Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle, Murrells Inlet

Inside the walls of Atalaya Castle, you can enjoy the “frightfully fun” festival that’s put on here every year. There are spooky cartoons playing on the screen and carnival rides. In addition to this festival, you can enjoy two haunted houses at this location for the spookiest Halloween ever.

Hall of Horrors, Cayce

This is the longest running scare show in the Midlands where people come back year after year to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever. There are photo booths, games and snacks while you wait for your turn to enjoy the haunted house at the Hall of Horrors in Cayce.

Each of these attractions is a fabulous way to enjoy the spookiest Halloween ever. Be sure to check each location’s website for more details such as pricing information and dates that they’ll be open. Halloween is a fun time to get out, get scared in a fun way and enjoy some family time together.
