Skinny Pop original popcorn is a great go to snack with only 39 calories per cup. It is much lighter than most regular popcorns and healthier. As I look at the bag my expectations are low because normally whenever there is a snack that is good for you it usually tastes subpar. I was quickly proven wrong after the first handful and was reassured by a few more handfuls. I see no reason to continue eating overly greasy unhealthy popcorn, Skinny Pop is the popcorn for me.
Jalapeño
The jalapeño is a terrific popcorn with excellent flavor. Having only 43 calories per cup only encourages you to eat it. It had a nice balance between popcorn and jalapeño flavor. Personally I am a spicy person and I feel that this bag fell short on bringing the heat. If you are the type of person that likes jalapeño flavor but you are not a fan of the heat then this is the perfect snack for you.
Dusted Dark Chocolate
In my own opinion I am not a big fan of dark chocolate but I do know how it tastes. This bag contains only 43 calories per cup. The popcorn is very flavorful and bursting with rich dark chocolate flavor. Even though I do not prefer dark chocolate I have found myself constantly reaching back into the bag for more. If you would like a sweeter snack drizzling a little warm caramel into a bowl of dusted dark chocolate Skinny Pop is absolute perfection.
