Life is challenging. Things like moving house, changing jobs and divorce can disrupt life and cause huge amounts of stress.
Fortunately, these big events don’t happen every day.
But what about those little things that happen more frequently that are so annoying they can easily ruin your day if you let them?
Here are ten of the most annoying things that happen every day that we’ll all encounter sooner or later.

A Wet Toilet Seat
This is annoying in your own house when someone has bad aim, but at least you know who peed all over the seat.
It’s far worse to use a public restroom and encounter a wet seat, especially if it’s the only toilet available.
What’s even worse is a wet seat in a stall with no toilet paper or not enough paper to clean it up while keeping your hands safely dry.
Sticky Tags
Is it too much to ask that you don’t have to get out a hammer and chisel to remove a price sticker?
Instead of peeling off neatly, some stickers require scraping, soaking and scrubbing.
When you buy something pretty and want to put it on display, or you just want to eat the apple without peeling it, the last thing you want to do is spend time trying to scrape off a sticker.
Breaking a Key in a Lock
Have you ever been in a hurry to open a door with a sticky lock or hard to turn knob and snapped the key off?
Sometimes it’s because the key is worn because of use, and sometimes it’s on a ring with so many other keys it gets worn from all the keys jangling together.
It might be impossible to know why it happens when a perfectly good key breaks off in a lock.
The one thing that’s certain is how annoying it is, especially if you can’t find a way to remove the broken key piece out without calling a locksmith!
Loud Commercials
Unfortunately, commercials that are louder than the programs are common.
The advertisers want your attention, so when you’re watching that murder mystery or romance with the volume at a comfortable level, the commercial sometimes blares.
This is particularly annoying, and sometimes painful, if you’re watching something while wearing headphones.

Facebook Game Requests
Most of us try to limit our time on social media so it doesn’t take over our lives.
When we do visit Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, we want to see what friends and family are up to, check the groups and communities we follow, and enjoy some downtime.
Instead, we’re often inundated with multiple requests to play games, sometimes from several different people.
Play this game! Send so-and-so free lives!
These requests can clog up your feed and make time spent on Facebook so much more annoying. If we wanted to play those games, we’d already be playing them!
Forgetting the Item You Went to Buy
We’ve all done it. You go to the store for milk and come home with six bags of things you never intended to buy but couldn’t pass up.
When you’re about halfway through putting the new purchases away you realize you forgot the milk, which is the only thing you actually needed and the entire reason you went to the store in the first place. So annoying!
People Who Have a Negative Attitude
We all have times when we’re down or just in a rotten mood.
Some people, though, seem to walk around with a black cloud over their heads and love to tell everyone they meet how awful everything is.
They suck all the air out of a room when they walk into it with their Eeyore temperament and glum outlook.
Being around a negative person for very long can ruin your whole day.

Unwanted Advice
Some people think their lives and experiences should be shared with the world whether the world wants to hear them or not!
It’s so annoying when you’re talking about something going on in your life only to have someone else say they’ve been through something similar and then try to tell you what you should do.
What makes it worse is that so often the unwanted advice is bad!
They weren’t really listening to you in the first place, and their situation isn’t as much like yours as they thought.
Cars Parked in Two Spaces
If there are plenty of parking spaces available, this is less annoying than if parking spots are rare.
Even when there are plenty of spaces available, if the ones that are most convenient for you to use are taken up by someone who can’t seem to stay between the lines, it can be a major annoyance.
Two vehicles parked so poorly that they crowd down a single space to ensure only a motorcycle could fit is even worse.
And don’t forget the bonus round of bad parking annoyances: you come out to your car, which you parked perfectly in the space, and someone has parked so badly and so close to your car that you can barely get the door open wide enough to squeeze inside.
Stinky Lunches at Work
A community microwave in a break room at work can be annoying and disgusting if the people who use it don’t clean up after themselves.
But even when your coworkers are tidy, if they like to bring food to work that has a strong odor, it can smell up the microwave and the entire break area.
People who really love fish or stinky varieties of cheese could be considerate and enjoy those foods at home instead of packing them to work and forcing everyone else to smell them for hours.
