This year the event will span over three days at Piedmont Park celebrating the richness of Black, Afro-Caribbean, and Africa Diaspora cultures.

This year’s theme is RISE. “Reflecting on not just the past year, but the past 402 years, the shared power of reliance and community from our family, friends, and allies has always lifted all of us together.
Now, this year they are in partnership with Ghana Tourism Authority and The BridgeZone is about connecting African people to the people of the Diaspora with our varying cultures and traditions.
This historical partnership will debut, AFRO CON: THE YEAR OF RETURN STAGE presented by Ghana Tourism Authority and The Bridgezone.

Prince Anthony Bart-Appiah a Royal, Nephew to the King of Akwamu in Ghana and CEO of TheBridgezone, will bring his “Black Stories Matter” masterclass to the AFRO CON Stage.
The main stage will unveil highly anticipated local, national, and global performances. Artist and performance line-ups will be announced in July.
