Journaling is huge right now. I personally love it. I have a couple of journals going right now. I just got a new book that I can’t wait to start doodling from.

Take Your Journaling To The Next Level

The Art of Drawing Dangles by Olivia A. Kneibler really piqued my interest when I first saw it online at Quarto Publishing. Now that I have it in my hands, I am stoked to get drawing. This book will teach you how to add pretty embellishments to your letters and artwork. These flourishes and charms will take your journals to the next level.

Once you learn the basic concept and skills of drawing these whimsical dangles, you’ll be able to add your own pizazz to all of your journals, diaries, notes and more. Bible Journals have become hugely popular too. This book will help you add some fancy writing to your scripts and psalms.

Spice Up Your To Do List

Every evening I make the next day’s To Do List. It helps me focus on what I need to accomplish the next day. To make it more fun, I use lined tablets (like little journals) and gel pens, and try to decorate them, or “spice them up,” as my husband says. For me, it makes that nagging list much nicer to look at. In a way, it makes all those chores seem a little bit better. (I know, I’m weird.)

Dangle Shapes and Mandalas

Olivia will walk you through creating all of these adorable dangles. She will even show you how to make mandalas, which are so much fun. It’s perfect for kids, teens, and adults that want to enjoy some creative doodling. Have a rainy day and hyper kids? Give them a notebook or some paper, and open this book. Have fun doing art together, and pass away that nasty day!

Where to buy
