Did you know that September is National Whole Grains Month? I didn’t until today, but hey, we learn something new every day! What better way to celebrate this month than with healthy snacks for your whole family.
Perfect Snacks for National Whole Grains Month
Whether you’re looking to have healthier snacks in the house for after school, or you’re looking to pack healthier snacks in their lunch, we have some great options for you. And because healthy doesn’t mean they have to taste nasty, you’re really going to love these products.
Salty, sweet, crunchy and tiny
The Little Kernel is all of these things. First of all they pop it olive oil so it’s better for you. Then they keep it real with only natural ingredients. What you get is a whole grain, tasty, and healthy treat. They have six flavors to choose from. You can choose Naked, Sweet and Salty, Truffle Sea Salt, Pink Himalayan Salt, Butter, and White Cheddar.
Yummy Granola
We love granola. Our favorite is Viki’s Granola. She has five flavors to choose from (and we love them all.) You can choose from Original, Blueberry Almond, Maple Cranberry, Apple Cinnamon, and Banana Walnut. They have big family sized bags, or smaller on the go packs. My son has Viki’s Granola in his lunch every day.
Squeeze Pouches
My eldest son is addicted to squeeze pouches. He takes two to three in his lunch every day. His favorite ones are from Munk Pack. He loves them because not only do they taste awesome, but they have oatmeal in them, which makes them more filling. He eats two for breakfast, and has one with his lunch. His go to flavors of Munk Pack are Maple Pear Quinoa, and Raspberry Coconut. They also have Apple Quinoa Cinnamon, Blueberry Acai Flax, and Peach Chia Vanilla. Get some for your family here.
