Motivation Monday- Plan Your Day July 27th

PLAN YOU DAY!

Monday is the best day to PLAN the week, for me.  You need to pick whatever day works best for you. Today I’m going to sit down with a notebook and pen- yes, going old school.  Put down on paper my goals, what reviews I need to do, what campaigns I need promote, what sites I want to look at, and the other 100 things I need to do for blogging.  Blogging is non stop- there is always something. 

I’m actually going to have 3 different TO-DO lists:

  • Blog work
  • House work
  • For ME! 

I know the last one threw you off for a second but let me explain.  I actually need to do a list for things “I” want to do because I always forget about ME.  I’m a person who puts everyone else ahead of myself but I’m beginning to realize (never too late, right) I need to stop that.  I need to do things that I enjoy too!  If I list 10 things and if I do at least 2 of them I will be happy.  

Then with my list I’m going to put in all the important TO DO’s in my phone (there you go high-tech) so that way I can be reminded- the piece of paper doesn’t send me a cool whistle during the day so I need this to keep on track.  When I’m not on track my life is like a roller coaster.  I feel I’ve been on this ride for way too long!  Time to get off- I need to get things done. 

I’m going to try to work in intervals this week! 

  • Work for 50 minutes.
  • Have a 10-minute break.
  • Work for another 50 minutes.
  • Have a 30-minute break.
  • Repeat.
