One of the best parts of summer is being able to commemorate dad so early on in the season. Kicking off the month of June with an outdoor BBQ dinner in order to celebrate dad is what my family usually does.

Finding gifts for dad really has us scratching our heads sometimes. We try to steer clear of the more traditional presents like a generic tie or metal cufflinks because we always prefer putting our own special touch to what we give him.

Actually, what works best for papa are handmade crafts that become memorable keepsakes. Dad will love the sentimental value behind his present and will truly appreciate the creative work that went behind it. I decided to put together 10 crafts that are kid-friendly and would make wonderful gift offerings for papa.
