Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort Announces Exciting Lineup of Cultural Activities and Experiences for Guests

Today Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort introduces its Piñata making class available to guests, which adds to an inventory of on-and-off property experiential programming that are bookable by hotel guests. The interactive Piñata class joins a list of authentic activities, including the resort’s botanical wellness education, all-natural bath salt making classes at eforea Spa, in-room towel origami classes, local flower arranging classes, a Miraflores farm to table foraging and cooking excursion, and seasonal beach-side full moon dinners.

The programming at Hilton Los Cabos follows the resort’s dedication to providing cultural experiences for its guests, representative of its Baja California location between colonial San Jose del Cabo and picturesque Cabo San Lucas. While staying at Hilton Los Cabos, guests will enjoy local design in the resort’s 375 guestrooms, including 65 La Vista premium guestrooms and suites, and Mexican heritage featured in its six dining concepts.

“At Hilton Los Cabos, we aim to provide guests’ world-class service by offering authentic and cultural activities that shed light on the traditional beauty and flare of Cabo,” says Marco Tabet, general manager at Hilton Los Cabos. “Our hope is that our guests enjoy these experiences as much as we enjoy sharing them and continue to come back to Los Cabos to celebrate Mexican heritage.”

Classes are available upon request at Hilton Los Cabos. 2017 programming highlights include the following experiences:

  • The Art of the Piñata Class

This authentic experience makes any day a celebration. Guests who take this class will combine brightly-colored strips of paper to craft personalized piñatas, a practice which dates back to the 14th century. Redefining the historical significance of the piñata, guests will gain a more profound understanding of this Mexican custom while creating a festive souvenir to bring home. Mexican treats are served throughout the class, including churro bites, tequila, and Mexican hot chocolate. This immersive cultural activity is great for families, couples and group travelers. Classes are bookable 24 hours in advance and priced at $45.00 USD per person. Minimum required guests: 10.

  • A Look Inside: Botanical Wellness & Bath Salt Making Class

Guests are invited to visit eforea Spa to partake in an educational experience on the health benefits of bath sea salt and the local flora that have restorative wellness properties. During the class, guests will concoct a personalized bath salt mixture, using various local plants and herbs from eforea spa’s Living Wall along with aromatic orange, lavender, and eucalyptus scented oils to create rejuvenating and cleansing products of their own. These highly customizable bath salts reflect the emphasis on personalization that also exists within the customizable treatments at eforea spa. Apart from leaving with a bath salt creation, guests will have a wealth of knowledge about Mexican botanical wellness and the traditional uses of plants. $95.00 USD plus tax and service charge. Minimum required guests: 10.

  • Mexican Shaman Cleansing Ritual

Rooted in traditional Mayan ceremony, the healing Mexican Shaman Ritual from eforea spa takes you to a spiritual place with a soul purification. Lead by a shaman with multi-generational training in these healing practices, the cleansing ritual uses burning sage and other herbs, Mexican incantations, and traditional drums to bring harmony within the flow of one’s life cycle to celebrate love and health. The experience with the shaman allows guests to have a one-on-one interaction with one of the most mystical and spiritually gifted souls in the privacy of our Zen Garden. $50.00 dollars plus tax and service charge. Minimum required guests: 10.

  • Towel Origami Class

With this interactive experience, guests can book a class with kids (or without!) to learn how to fold a variety of animals and shapes out of towels as seen in their guestrooms during their stay. Each month, the Housekeeping team at Hilton Los Cabos votes on a new animal to add into the rotation. From an octopus to a turtle, guests can explore their creativity and learn to fold these creatures on their own. Classes are bookable upon arrival and priced at $25.00 USD per person. Minimum required guests: 10.

  • Flower Arranging Class

As a favorite for girls’ getaways, guests can embark on a journey of the senses by selecting their favorite florals during an instructional flower arrangement session. With various blooms set out for guest selection, guests can select the stems of their choice and create a beautiful bouquet. Great for any level, guests will learn the art of local flora and fauna while sipping on champagne and nibbling light bites. Following the class, Hilton Los Cabos will display guests’ arrangements in-room for the remainder of their stay. Classes are bookable upon arrival and priced at $90.00 USD per person. Minimum required guests: 10.

Led by Executive Chef Mauricio Lopez, the Miraflores experience, and cooking class takes guests on an off-property excursion to Tiki’s Local Farm, where they enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast complete with juices, natural coffees, fruit salad and more. The freshly prepared meal is followed by a farm foraging experience.
