Host a Halloween Shindig Your Friends Won’t Forget

Halloween isn’t just for kids. Adults enjoy this spooky holiday as well. So why not host a shindig your friends won’t soon forget. I love planning parties, but I think planning Halloween bashes are my favorite! Here are some of my ideas.

Host a Halloween Shindig Your Friends Won’t Forget!

Make a list of friends, set a date, and let’s plan this party! You can choose a theme for your decor, or just go with all things scary. I find it’s easier to do the latter, and my first stop is the Dollar Tree. They have so many great holiday items there.

You can get backdrops for your walls, which make an amazing selfie station! Grab some spider webs, and lights for each room that your guests will be in. They also have tons of Halloween themed serving utensils and bowls, so grab those too! Go wild, everything’s a dollar!

Spooky food

The presentation is everything, so make your foods look like decorations. You’re going to want to serve foods that are easier to grab. I like to make mummy hot dogs, which are just crescent rolls wrapped around hot dogs and then baked. If you’re serving booze at your bash, you want foods that will fill stomachs a bit. Pretzel fingers are fun too! A fantastic snack and they actually look like fingers!

Jello Drinks!

Aside from typical beverages, why not make some scary jello shots and molds? While you’re at the Dollar Tree grab some Halloween ice-cube trays and their Jello brain mold too! We’re not going to use just any liquor though, we’re going to use prosecco!

For the brain mold we’re going to use raspberry jello, and you’ll need a bottle of Mionetto’s Rose Extra Dry. It’s fruity cherry flavor will pair perfectly with your raspberry jello. This prosecco is one of my favorites! Your guests are going to love the sparkly and fruity flavored brain.

Those spooky ice-cube trays are next. These jello shots will be made with Mionetto’s Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut. It’s has a lovely honey and white peach flavor. So I would suggest getting peach jello. I love this recipe, but substitute the vodka with your prosecco. Trust me, the shots are so much better!
