Find Your Keys With The KeySmart Pro
I lose my keys all of the time. I try to remind myself to put them in the same place every time so I’ll know where they are, but I forget. There are also times when my granddaughter will take my keys and play with them without me knowing. When I’m ready to leave I can’t find them. This is where KeySmart Pro (with Tile Smart Location Tracking) comes in. This isn’t just a key ring, it is so much more. First of all, it looks kind of like a pocket knife (it does to me). It keeps your keys neat and completely organized. No more hanging and jingling keys. Oh, and did I mention that it actually keeps track of where your keys are?
When I first received my KeySmart Pro, I took it apart to put my keys on it. It comes with little spacers to organize keys so that they are not stuck on top of each other. It also comes with a neat little bottle opener. I loved how it worked, but it says that it will hold up to 14 keys. My car key has a thick plastic covering on it, and I couldn’t get it to fit properly. I did end up just using my extra regular, metal car key so that it would fit. I was only able to fit 4 of my keys and the bottle opener. Each side holds a certain number of keys, and when you put it all together, they keys have to fold into each other. I don’t understand how you could put so many keys on it, and have it work properly.
I was a little worried that my car key wouldn’t fit in my ignition while on the KeySmart Pro, but thankfully, I was wrong! It fit perfectly and started right up. After downloading the Tile app and turning on your Bluetooth, you can keep track of where your keys are at all times. That is pretty cool. That isn’t all! So let’s say you have lost your keys. You simply open the Tile app and click on what you are looking for. If the keys are close by, the KeySmart Pro unit will make a ringtone so that you can find it. However, if it is further away, it will show you where it is on the map. Pretty easy to find your keys huh?
Now let’s say you have your KeySmart Pro unit, but you have lost your phone. You simply press the Tile button twice and your phone will start ringing, even if you have it on silent! This is some amazing technology. I know what I am giving my mom for Mother’s Day! Actually, I have a lot of people in my family that loses their keys. Easter is coming up, and Father’s Day. The KeySmart Pro would make an awesome gift anytime!
The nice people at KeySmart also gave me KeyCatch. This is a set of small magnets that hold keys, or anything up to three pounds. They stick to any surface, but KeySmart has a great idea. They say to put the KeyCatch on your light switch so that when you leave and grab your keys, you’ll never forget to turn the lights off. Great idea!
