Dress Up Your House for Halloween and Fall

I’m one of those people who starts decorating my house in September. I put out all of my fall decor, and then the first of October, I add my Halloween stuff to it. I just love fall decorations. After all, your house should dress up too!

Dress Up Your House for Halloween and Fall

There’s something so homey about tans, muted greens, oranges, and more that go great with this season. The smell of apple wax tarts in the warmer really set up the mood too. I simply love the dress my house up for fall.

I think one of my favorite decorations to put out is my autumn leaf garland. I string it up everywhere. Over windows, on shelves, and more. A lot of times, you can even find it at the Dollar Tree, so you can buy plenty to adorn your entire house.

Fresh Gourds, Pumpkins and Corn

I love to spread fresh gourds around my house. There’s a Mennonite family up the road that sells them every fall. I always look forward to going through their gorgeous selection. Pumpkins and decorative corn look great too. Then come Halloween, you can carve the pumpkins!

Don’t Forget Your Tables

I love to have Fall themed linens. That way I can have them out and enjoy them for September, October, and November too. My favorite linens of all are from Couleur Nature. I am head over heels in love with their Pumpkin Orange Placemats. The orange and mustard colors go perfectly with this season. I use them on my coffee and end tables on the living room. Since they come in a set of six, I have enough to place one on our microwave, and one on our chest freezer. They really add fall charm to every room I place them in.

My kitchen table is lucky enough to be adorned with Couleur Nature’s French Tablecloth Pumpkin Orange. It matches the placemats perfectly, and really looks gorgeous on my table. They also have a table runner, napkins, tea towels, and even an apron that matches this set. If you love autumn like I do, then this set is perfect for you!
