Alexandrite – The Chameleon Of Gemstones [InfoGraphic] #ad @alaskajewelry #ktotgiftguide

Alexandrite

Holiday season is here, and you know what that means right… SHOPPING!  We are thinking and looking for gifts for family and friends.  I love to give (and get) jewelry for my mom. Her birthday is in June, and she loves Alexandrite Birthstone Jewelry.  I came across an Alexandrite Jewelry infographic from Alaska Jewelry- Goldsmith Gallery Stores.  I liked reading about the history of Alexandrite and all the scientific terms. Besides being June’s Birthstone, Alexandrite is also the 55th Wedding Anniversary gem.  I only have 40 more years of marriage to be able to get this beautiful gem that changes colors in different lighting conditions. No wonder why my mom loves Alexandrite, it is amazing.

It is fascinating to find out that Alexandrite was discovered in Russia and at first it was mistaken for an emerald.  Alexandrite natural stones are scarce, which increases their price significantly. Alexandrite stones can be manufactured in a laboratory making those stones available and affordable.

Of course, I checked out the Alaska Jewelry website for their Alexandrite jewelry.  Oh my goodness, so many beautiful pieces.  My mom would die for any of the pieces, and there is a pendant that might work for her kids to all chip in and buy it for her.  There are so many gift ideas from rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants, other birthstone jewelry, and much more.  The prices range from affordable to very high-end.  Alaska Jewelry specializes in Natural Gold Nugget, Gold Quartz, Motion Rings, Unique Men’s rings, and has one of the world’s best selections of Natural Alexandrite.
They offer Free Shipping on all natural Alexandrite birthstones.

Their collection of natural alexandrite jewelry contains an assortment of rings, earrings, and pendants that make perfect gifts for your most cherished person.  My in-laws are from Alaska and I know a piece from the Native Alaskan Jewelry collection would be perfect for Grandma Timi.  My husband loves John Hardy, and they have some pieces that are perfect for a Christmas present. I even showed my husband my birthstone collection and pointed out a gorgeous ring since he does owe me one for a couple of years now.
