Advantages of a Full Service Heating and Cooling Company

When you suddenly have your air conditioner go out during a heat wave and your whole household is sweltering, it is great to find a repair service to come out and repair your unit. But will they be there when you have larger needs with your heating, ventilation, and cooling (HVAC) system? Going with a full service heating and cooling company can save you money, time, and give you more service than you imagined.

Save Money

A full service heating and cooling company can save you money by properly maintaining your HVAC equipment. Get your cooling system checked in the spring, and your heating system checked in the fall. Part of either maintenance visit includes lubrication of all moving parts, a thermostat check, a condensate drain check, and a control system check. A cooling system maintenance visit will include cleaning and adjustment of blower coils, a check of the refrigeration level, and evaporator and condenser coil cleaning.

Stay Safe

The scary reality of living with a poorly maintained furnace is that it is likely to become a safety issue over time. Gas connections that have become loose over time impact the health of your family and are a fire hazard. Dirty furnace burners and cracked heat exchanges cause your heating system to operate unsafely and inefficiently. Safety experts stress the need for furnace maintenance to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Regular furnace maintenance can put your mind at ease.

Save Time

When you have a complete heating or cooling system breakdown and need professional HVAC help, do you really have the time to search the internet and make multiple calls to find a repair service? If you already have a full service HVAC company maintaining your HVAC system, you know who to call. You just need to make one call to get the help you need.

Heating System Services

Whether you need furnace repair or replacement, you want licensed professionals working with the electrical and gas connections in your home. A full service HVAC company will ensure that their employees are properly certified and trained, and that they will make repairs and installations safely.

Cooling System Services

Expect a full service HVAC company to have repair service available around the clock. For example, Comfort Air HVAC repair has their repair service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The great thing about their vehicles is that they are fully stocked with repair parts so that there is no delay in getting your air conditioning fixed. If you end up needing a new air conditioner, they can install that as well.

Air Duct Work

There are many companies around that specialize in air duct cleaning, but did you know that a full service HVAC company can clean air ducts as well? In fact, they can repair and even replace your air ducts. Having your air ducts cleaned reduces dust and respiratory irritants in your home as well as increasing your HVAC system’s efficiency.

Finding a company to get a HVAC maintenance schedule started is a great idea for your home’s efficiency and your family’s safety. You will save time and money by optimizing your HVAC system’s efficiency with a full service HVAC company.

You made a good point that looking for a full service heating company can save me a lot of time. I currently need a heating repair service because mine doesn't heat up my home enough that I still need to have a think blanket in bed. I better get it fixed soon because the weather is just going to get colder.
