Veterans Day is Monday, November 11. As a way to say “thank you” to the troops for everything they’ve done, many restaurants are providing veterans and active-duty service members with special deals and freebies.
1. Another Broken Egg Cafe
On Monday, November 11, Veterans and active-duty military members will get a free Patriot French Toast, topped with strawberries, blueberries, and fresh whipped cream. They’ll also get a Barista Blend Coffee to go with their meal. This freebie is available for dine-in customers only and a valid ID is required at the time of purchase.
2. Applebee’s
Applebee’s is offering all veterans and active-duty military a free meal from a select menu for Veterans Day. Check your local Applebee’s to see if they are participating. This offer is valid for dine-in only.
3. Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar
Active-duty military and vets are eligible to receive a free 5 oz. All American Burger with cheese and their choice of a side on November 11. You’ll need to present your ID to receive this freebie. It’s available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Veterans Day.
4. Bar Louie
Bar Louie is providing all veterans and active-duty military a free burger from November 10 to November 11. Some exclusions may apply. ID is necessary to claim this freebie and it’s available for dine-in guests only.
5. Bob Evans
On November 11, vets and active-duty members can get a free meal from a select menu at Bob Evans. This deal is only available for dine-in.
6. Bonefish Grill
Bonefish Grill is giving away a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soda on Veterans Day. Veterans and active-duty military will have to present their ID to claim the offer.
7. Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings is thanking veterans and active-duty service members with 10 free boneless wings and fries. A valid ID is required for this freebie. You can place your order to go at the counter or enjoy a dine-in experience.
8. California Pizza Kitchen
California Pizza Kitchen will have a select menu that vets and active-duty military can choose from on November 11. Additionally, they will receive a BOGO offer for a pizza, pasta, or salad that can be redeemed between November 12 and November 25.
9. Carolina Ale House
North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee locations of Carolina Ale House are offering a free half rack of rib platter on November 11. Veterans and military members will need to dine-in for this deal.
10. Chick-fil-A
Veterans and active duty members will be able to receive a breakfast chicken biscuit or lunch/dinner original chicken sandwich for free on November 11. Proof of service will be required at the time of purchase. This deal will only be available at select locations, so check with your local store to see if they’ll be participating.
11. CiCi’s Pizza
With a valid military ID, veterans and active duty members can receive a free adult buffet at Cici’s on November 11.
12. Chili’s
Chili’s is also offering vets and active-duty service members a free meal on November 11 at all participating locations. This deal is dine-in only and military ID will be required to claim.
13. Cracker Barrel
Cracker Barrel is honoring service members on November 11 by offering a complimentary Sunrise Pancake Special at all locations. The Old Country Store will also provide 25% off military-themed apparel in-store and online from November 1 to November 11.
14. Dave & Buster’s
If you want to head out with the family for some fun, there are freebies for veterans at Dave & Buster’s. They can get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card. A valid veteran’s ID card is necessary to claim this freebie on November 11.
15. Denny’s
Denny’s is also joining in on the Veterans Day freebies. All veterans and active-duty personnel can get a free Original Grand Slam on November 11. The deal is available from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. and valid identification is required.
16. Dunkin
Dunkin loves giving away freebies. Active and retired military will be eligible for a free donut on Veterans Day while supplies last. You’ll have to go to the store to grab your freebie. It isn’t available for On-the-Go Mobile orders.
17. Einstein Bros. Bagels
Veterans and active-duty military can grab a free hot or iced coffee with a purchase at Einstein Bros. Bagels on November 11.
18. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
If you dine with a veteran or active-duty service member on November 11, their lunch or dinner is free at Firebirds.
19. Firehouse Subs
Stop by Firehouse Subs for lunch on November 11, active-duty military personnel and veterans get a free medium sub with the purchase of a medium or large sub meal. Military ID is needed to claim this deal.
20. Food City
Bring your military ID or proof of service with your ValuCard to any Food City Deli on November 11 and you can get a free meal. This includes one hot bar meal (an entree, two sides, and a roll).
21. Golden Corral
On November 11, Golden Corral will be holding its annual Military Appreciation Night. To date, Golden Corral has served 6.4 million free meals to vets and active-duty military members. From 4 p.m. to close, a free “thank you” meal is provided for those serving and those who have served.
22. Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe is honoring active duty military and veterans on November 11 with a free burger. If they are with a group, a 15% military discount will be given for everyone’s meal. Military or veteran ID is required to claim this deal.
23. Hickory Tavern
Veterans and active-duty military members will receive a free meal with the purchase of another meal (equal or lesser value) on Veterans Day. This offer is available all day and can only be redeemed by dine-in customers. Proof of military service will be required.
24. Hooters
With proof of service or military ID, you can get a free meal from the Hooters Veterans Day menu on November 11. You will have to purchase a drink to claim this deal. This offer is valid for dine-in only at participating locations.
25. In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out will be honoring veterans and active-duty military members on November 11 with a free meal. Proof of service is required.
26. iHOP
iHOP is getting festive with its offering. Veterans and active-duty military personnel can get free red, white, and blueberry pancakes with proof of service. This is limited to one per guest and valid ID or proof of service is required.
27. Krispy Kreme
All locations will offer free coffee and a donut on Veterans Day.
28. Krystal
Krystal is serving up a free Breakfast Sandwich from opening to 11 a.m. on Veterans Day. Proof of service is required.
29. Little Caesar’s Pizza
At participating locations, Little Caesar’s Pizza is offering a Veterans Day lunch special from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Active-duty military members and veterans can get a free lunch combo. Proof of service is required. Check with your local store to see if they’re offering this deal.
30. Logan’s Roadhouse
Logan’s Roadhouse is offering a special menu of fan favorites for veterans and active-duty military members to choose from on Veterans Day. All meals from this menu will be complimentary with proof of service at participating locations.
31. The Melting Pot
The Melting Pot is offering a great Veterans Day deal. Veterans can get a four-course meal for free with the purchase of another four-course meal on November 11. Proof of service is required and you cannot combine this offer with any other promotion.
32. MOD Pizza
MOD Pizza is providing veterans and active-duty members as well as their spouses with a free Mega cookie on November 11.
33. On the Border
Current service members and veterans can get a free Pick-2 Combo Meal at On the Border. This offer is only available at participating locations and you will need to provide proof of service.
34. Olive Garden
Olive Garden has a special menu where veterans and active-duty personnel can choose any entree, paired with breadsticks and soup or salad. This free meal is available on November 11.
35. Outback Steakhouse
Outback is honoring veterans and service members with a free Bloomin’ Onion and soft drink. Both dine-in and to-go orders are valid for this offer.
36. Peet’s Coffee
If you need something to get you going, veterans can grab a free drip coffee or tea of any size on November 11. However, this is only available at participating Peet’s coffee bar locations.
37. Perkins
Perkins is offering a free Magnificent Seven Breakfast on Veterans Day for retired and active-duty military members.
38. Red Lobster
With valid military ID, dine-in customers can receive free shrimp and chips, paired with fries and coleslaw, on Veterans Day.
39. Red Robin
Red’s Big Tavern Burger with bottomless fries will be free for active-duty personnel and veterans on November 11. This is only available for dine-in customers.
40. Ruby Tuesday
Ruby Tuesday is offering a free Garden Bar entree, American Smashed Burger, or Ruby’s Cheeseburger with a valid military ID on Veterans Day. You can use the code HERO24.
41. Shoney’s
From open until 11 a.m. on Veterans Day, retired and active-duty service members can get a free All-You-Care-To-Eat breakfast bar.
42. Sonic Drive-in
Sonic is offering half-price shakes for vets and active-duty military members on Veterans Day. This includes classic and master shakes.
43. Starbucks
Starbucks is thanking veterans, active-duty personnel, and their spouses by providing them with a free 12 oz drip coffee (hot or cold) on November 11.
44. Subway
Subway is showing its appreciation for retired and active-duty service members with a free 6-inch sub or a 10% discount on a sub sandwich. This offer is only valid at participating locations.
45. Texas Roadhouse
Participating Texas Roadhouse locations will be offering active-duty military members and veterans a free meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Military ID is required to claim this deal. The vouchers will not expire until May 2025.
46. TGI Fridays
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Veterans Day, retired and active-duty service members can get a free menu from a select menu.
47. Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks will also have a select menu where vets and active-duty military members can get a free lunch. This offer is valid on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is only available at participating locations.
48. Wendy’s
During breakfast hours on November 11, Wendy’s is offering veterans and active-duty personnel a free breakfast combo. This deal can’t be combined with any other offers or discounts. It is also not available for digital, delivery, or kiosk orders.
49. Whataburger
Last, but not least, Whataburger will be providing veterans and active-duty military members in uniform or with a valid ID get a free 16-ounce Hot or Iced Coffee. This offer is only available in-store and may not be available at all locations.
