What comes with winter? For many of us, the holidays. However, winter brings cold air, and tons of illnesses. Wendigo Tea Co. knows that winter is coming, and they have a fantastic tea set to warm you up, and even soothe a sore throat.
Wendigo Knows Winter is Coming
Even though as I type this, you don’t even need a jacket to be outside, yet two days ago we had snow. Winter is indeed coming. The sicky ickies as we call them, are all around us. We just got back from the emergency room with our son. (Kids always seem to get sick on holidays!) He has strep throat.
My Wendigo Tea Co. gift set couldn’t have come at a better time! I got their Winter is Coming gift set. It came with a tin of The Firebird Chai tea, a tin Siren Throat Coat Tea, and a lovely EZ Brew Tea and Coffee Brewing System.
Siren Throat Coat
I just brewed Liam up some of their Siren Throat Coat tea. He actually drank it. All of it! This is huge for my son. He’s autistic and has many food aversions. Getting him to drink a little tea with honey is like milking a turtle. It’s impossible. However, I let him smell the Siren tea, and he watched me brew it. He even let me put a tiny bit of local honey it, then drank it right down. He informed me, “Tell the my froat feels a little better!” There ya have it folks!
The Firebird Chai
Okay, so to be totally honest, what caught my eye about this gift set was the name. Being a HUGE Game of Thrones fan, Winter is Coming is what piqued my interest. I do love tea, especially chai, so again, that was a huge selling point for me.
I brewed some up, and fell in love! I adore the tins the teas come in, and they smell and taste so absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to make some for my Babcią, mama, and my sis. They are true tea connoisseurs.
Oh, and the EZ Brew Tea and Coffee Brewer is “fantabulous!” (one of Liam’s favorite adjectives.) It works great, and would be perfect for a motor home of camping excursion since it does both tea and coffee!
