Just a couple of more days, until Halloween and this most adorable DVD has hit the stores. VAMPIRINA, she’s a cute little new ghoul in town, and she ready to show everyone what she can do/
“Vampirina” is a kid show about tolerance and accepting oneself even tho you may be very different from those around you. These are great, positive messages that are espoused by many kids shows these days. All new kids face the same stuff when they move to someplace new.
She makes friends quickly with a sweet neighborhood girl, she and Poppy will soon find out all the spooky secrets of her house. There is a ghost, talking gargoyle, monster plant, and werewolf dog. Poppy thinks all the weird stuff is cool, but Vampirina’s other friends scare a little easier.
Vee has to get used to these vampire powers because she turns into a bat and has no control over it. So many great features to her home, and its so much fun watching this movie with my nephew. He gets a laugh out of her as a bat and all the characters in the house alone.
Episodes
- Going Batty / Scare B&B – Vampirina gets a case of the battys while meeting humans. Every time she gets nervous, she changes into a bat unwillingly. This is not good since some of her Human friends may be screamy at times. Oxana, Vee’s mother, opens Her New Scare B&B, but both a Human and Vampires guests arrive at the same time, and there is only one room. How do they get out of this pickle?
- The Sleepover / Portrait of a Vampire – Vampirina invites her new friends, Poppy and Bridget for a Sleepover. Vampirina gets the battys when taking a class photo for Mr. Gore.
- Vee’s Surprise Party / Vee Goes Viral – Vampirina and Poppy prepare for a ‘surprise’ party. After Gregoria teaches Vampirina and Poppy a new dance, Edgar makes a video and it goes viral.
- The Plant Predicament / Mummy Mayhem – While Demi tries to help Vampirina and Poppy cure a spell, Oxana tries to distract Edna. Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget try to make King Peppy feel better because all the visitors want to see are dinos.
This DVD release presents the first four episodes of the series, which are each split into two parts. The episodes on this disc are “Going Batty/Scare B&B,” “The Sleepover/Portrait of a Vampire,” “Vee’s Surprise Party/Vee Goes Viral,” and “The Plant Predicament/Mummy Mayhem.” Each of the episodes contains new songs that kids will fall in love with.

Like all new kids, in a new place VAMPIRINA, has a hard time adjusting, in no time she is one of the other kids. Perfect movie for this time of year and your kids will love it too.
