These Tips Make Getting Ready In The Morning a Breeze!

There are very few people who can naturally leap out of bed in the morning with a smile on their face, ready to start the day. For the vast majority of us, mornings involve hitting the snooze button far too many times and drinking copious amounts of coffee just to get to the stage where we’re functioning normally! For the most part, getting up and ready in the morning isn’t much fun. Luckily there are things you can do to make your life so much easier. If mornings are your nemesis, check out these tips.

Get Your Clothes Ready The Night Before

We’ve all had those mornings. First, you can’t find the outfit you wanted to wear. Then after a bit of searching, you discover it’s dirty and crinkled at the bottom of the washing pile. Then you can’t find the right bra to go with your shirt, and one of your shoes has seemingly walked off all by itself. But getting dressed in the morning doesn’t have to be so stressful. Spend a few minutes the night before sorting your outfit out. Don’t forget socks, shoes underwear and any accessories. It just means you have exactly what you need ready to go without having to worry about locating or ironing it in the morning. Organization is key, and a bit of forward planning will save you so much hassle in the morning.

Have a Quick Shower

A shower in the morning can wake you right up, without having to resort to caffeine. If you have long hair and don’t have time to wash and dry it before work, buy a shower cap. Just spending five minutes under the running water can work wonders. While this can feel like the last thing you want to do when you’ve just woken up, if you push through it you’ll be glad you did afterwards.

Designate a Nice Area To Get Ready

Having a relaxed space where you can fix your hair, apply your skincare products and do your makeup can make the morning run much more smoothly. Designate somewhere to sit or stand, where everything you need is neatly organized and at arm’s reach. You could buy a dressing table for this, or have a beautiful bathroom vanity set installed. Either way, these will give you plenty of storage for everything you need to get ready in the morning. Plus it’s much nicer than sitting on the floor in front of a mirror, or perching on the end of your bed. Regularly clear out products, and keep the surfaces clean to keep the area feeling nice and calm.

Eat a Good Breakfast

A decent breakfast will fuel your body and give you the very best start to the day. It’s so worth taking the few extra minutes in the morning to eat. We all know this is something we should be doing, but it’s easy to fall into a routine where of dashing out of the door in the morning and forgetting to do so. If you feel like you can’t face food when you get up, you could buy a juicer or blender and make a healthy drink to start the day instead.

Do you struggle getting up in the morning? Or are you one of the lucky ones who start the day with a spring in their step?
