New Monday Night Show!
I love a show that takes me on an ADVENTURE! After watching the 1st episode of TIMELESS, I knew this would be on my Monday night line up. My husband watches football, so I go into the bedroom and watch MY SHOWS! I love history, so Timeless is the perfect show. I was told by a little birdie (Abigal who plays Lucy) that the show would have something for us to learn in each show, that is real, but people might not know it happened. That is exciting for a history buff.
About the Show
From Eric Kripke (“Revolution,” “Supernatural”), Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”) and the producers of “The Blacklist” comes this thrilling action-adventure series in which a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor who use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. Can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it’s too late?
The cast includes Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.
Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan serve as writers and executive producers. John Davis, John Fox, Marney Hochman and Director Neil Marshall also executive produce. “Timeless” is produced by Davis Entertainment, Kripke Enterprises and MiddKid Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television.
Several bloggers were able to interview Abigail Spencer who plays Lucy Preston in the NBC drama Timeless. She is a talented actress, writer, and producer on both the big and small screen, Abigail Spencer is quickly making a name for herself in Hollywood.
We were able to ask her several questions about the show and her life. I think what I got out of this interview the most is Abigail is just like every MOM who works. She has an eight yr old son and balancing work and home are challenging, but she makes it work. What I loved was she shared that she keeps up with her son’s school progress by Class Dojo- just like I do! Timeless is shot in Canada so she does travel back and forth to home when she can. In off season she spends all her time with her son.
TIMELESS — Season: Pilot — Pictured: Abigail Spencer as Lucy PrestonHer parents influenced her a lot to go for her DREAM, and it was acting. Her dad was a big time History buff, so she appreciates this show a lot and what it can give to the audience. She loves playing a HEROINE on TV, but her real hero is her MOM. She was asked what her favorite era was to play in and it was the 1940’s. She loves dressing up in all the costumes; she is experiencing her little girl dreams of DRESS UP! Her favorite scene is actually in the 1st episode at the airfield in 1937.
She let us know the show will take us through many eras- 1985, 1962 with the Rat Pack, 1944, 1963 the Alamo, 1974 at Watergate, 1754 at the French Indian War, and 1969. She plays a teacher that turns into a hero when Homeland comes calling on her to help a soldier and pilot on secret missions that require TIME TRAVEL. They need to protect the past and save the FUTURE.
I can’t wait for TONIGHT’S Episode:

As soon as I saw the name Eric Kripke, I was sold. I love Supernatural and can only imagine this show will be just as well produced.
