1. Rubber
Rubber rings are unique, thus, rarely do you see them sold as serious robust products in stores, but do you know why they are great?
These rings are non-conductive, soft, and won’t damage easily, and so are great bands if you require a ring to survive the daily work routine.
We particularly recommend them for Electricians!

2. Tungsten Carbide Rings
Tungsten Carbide is a modern metal used for a wide range of tools but is favored by jewlests because it is strong and, in certain situations, it is safer to be worn around the ring that softer metals like gold.
Also, under a lot of pressure, it will break, whilst gold generally bends and further restricts the blood flow. But don’t be worried; it is still one of the hardest metals around!
This metal gives your the shine of dark metals through to light silver, but without the cost of the real deal, and not only that, you’ll have a much stronger band than a pure silver one.

3. WW2 Ring Made of Salvaged Gun Wood (M1 Garand)
We love rings made of exciting materials, and they are even cooler if they have a story to tell.
Part of these recycled woods includes a gun from WW2, which we used as inspiration to develop our WW2 ring, which you can see displayed above.
You can have a piece of history in your hands given a new lease of life to tie people in love rather than to create destruction and division.
4. Titanium Rings
Titanium is one of the most iconic metals used in modern rings because it shines like silver, yet it is much stronger whilst still holding the shimmer.
We love to create rustic rings (seen in the example above) using titanium to create a timeless quality to the piece, with simple details to express the range of color in a simple silver band.
However, we also polish some specimens to make them classy if you prefer something more upmarket.
5. Meteorite Rings
One of the coolest materials in our collection is meteorite rings!
One of the highlights is the voyager (see above), as the two materials create a real signature piece, bringing to life the ancient space rocks in the inlay.
Thorum sources these meteorite rocks from a four billon-year-old Gibeon meteorite.

6. Damascus Rings
Damascus steel is a strong, silvery metal with a unique imprint that almost looks like it’s more wood than steel.
It has a distinct zebra or tiger-like pattern that makes it hard to believe that it is just Damascus steel.
If you’re passionate about history, maybe even more about swords, this could be an excellent material for a ring! In ancient times blacksmiths used it to create distinct blades in the Middle East, which threw anything the west made out of the water in terms of blade looks alone.
7. Whiskey Barrel Rings
We’ve already highlighted recycled wood from the WW2 gun, but a lot of our oak wood comes from recycled whiskey barrels.
The wooden grains look stunning and have been carefully sourced, cut, sealed with resin, and polished to ensure they remain sparkling like the other innovative materials on this list.
8. Synthetic Opal Rings
