“The Festive Frolics Of Panda And Owl” – A Great Addition For A Child’s Library

Do your kids need some great bedtime stories to add to their library? May I suggest you pick up a copy of “The Festive Folics Of Panda And Owl,” written by Frank Lewis and illustrated by Autumn Brook.

Panda 1

This book is a set of 5 different stories:

  • “Fighting the Heat,”
  • “A Well-deserved Treat,”
  • “Fun by the River,”
  • “The Perfect Picnic,” and
  • “Panda Has a Birthday.”

Who Are Panda And Owl?

Panda and Owl are two cute animals who live in the Bamboo Forest. Between the two of them, they have a sweet and enduring friendship. Individually, Panda is adorable and sweet, and Owl is wise (as owls often are) but somewhat disoriented. They seem to balance each other out in an odd sort of way—and that is what makes them fun, interesting, and entertaining.

In the stories, they seem to find themselves in various predicaments. They work together, both contributing their own particular talents and skills, to solve the puzzles placed before them. The end result is they work together as a team to get the job done, while they also enjoy life together and are there for one another.

Each story is long enough that you could read one story a night. The stories are fun and funny. They also provide educational tidbits that would make great discussion topics to talk to your child about. And, each story has very colorful illustrations that help bring Panda and Owl’s world to the reader.

The Backstory And Where To Get Your Copy Of The Book

The backstory behind the creation of Panda and Owl is also worth mentioning because it’s so special. (I hope I tell this correctly and don’t mess up their story.) Before this book came to be, the author, Frank, was engaged to his then-fiancé, Jody. While they were dating, Frank had Jody pick topics for his chapters and then Frank would write the chapters and present them to Jody as a surprise for their holidays. Then, as a wedding gift, Jody (who was nicknamed Panda) had the book published for Frank (who was nicknamed Owl). How sweet is that?

This book is available for purchase on Amazon in paperback for $12.74 (price subject to change). The book (at the time I’m writing this post) has 100% 5-star reviews on Amazon, which is pretty impressive in my book. Pick up a copy to add to your library! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
