Somzi Mattress Review: The Highest Quality Products Produce the Best Quality of Sleep

Getting a good night’s sleep was always a lifelong goal of mine. Other than the occasional short stay at a hotel, my experience with mattresses has been unremarkable at best and horrible on far too many occasions.

That’s why when I discovered Somzi, I was hesitantly hopeful. In truth, I was pretty skeptical at the prospects of the company providing a mattress that would rock my world. So I did some homework, had another night of bad sleeping – and ordered my mattress the next day.

I’ve had my mattress for about a month now, and this is what I know: if I had a time machine, I would go back and buy my Somzi earlier because it’s the best foam mattress I’ve slept on.  Here are just a few of my favorite things and why I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who asks.

100 Nights of Easy Resting

Because Somzi stands by their product, each mattress comes with a 100 Night Trial period. They encourage you to use the bed as normal – sleeping, snuggling and cuddling all get the green light. I don’t know about you, but that’s not what I would expect for an item with this ticket price.

That extra incentive to ‘use as normal’ was like gold to me. Knowing that if I didn’t like it for any reason, I would not only get my money back but they would cover the pickup process too, brought me peace of mind to move forward with the purchase.

Count on Quality Instead of Sheep

I’ve never thought before about how a mattress is made. To be honest, other than lamenting another terrible night’s sleep, I’ve never really given my bed much thought at all. In my research over this purchase, however, I discovered the fascinating way the Somzi mattress is created.

First, I learned that the foam is U.S.A.-made and has been for more than 50 years – a fact that makes this Carolina girl’s heart happy! Somzi as a company has been doing what they do for more than 125 years. In an economy that can see so many dips and difficulties, their experience impressed me from the start and helped me trust that yes, they do know what they are doing.

Second, the materials they use are high quality and made to last. What this says to me is, before they even begin the construction process, the odds are in my favor that my foam mattress will provide me with great support and comfortable sleep for years to come. Better quality materials quite often lead to better quality products.

Layers of Proof

Another thing I discovered in my research of this company is the specific way in which they construct each mattress. If you were to take a Somzi foam mattress apart, you would notice that each layer serves its own purpose. And every layer works together to provide the rest you (and I!) deserve.

• Starting with a base of 6″ of supportive foam (with higher than average industry standard for quality), Somzi begins the process of creating each mattress with care and precision.
• Next up is 2″ of Serene® foam. This layer has the dual purpose of diminishing the heat often associated with gel foam mattresses while also causing relief of pressure when a sleeper is laying down. Personally, I’ve noticed improvements in my muscles and the stiffness I always felt in the mornings gets less and less the more I sleep on my Somzi.
• These two bottom layers are covered in a luxurious micro-weave covering that can easily be taken off for cleaning.
• Finally, just when you think your mattress is comfortable enough, Somzi takes it to the next level by providing 2″ of a Gel Swirl memory foam. This layer continues keeping you cool while comforting you to sleep.

The Easiest ‘Easy Set-up’ Ever

When Somzi says that their foam mattress set up is easy, they aren’t kidding! I got my king mattress on a Wednesday, moved it immediately to my bedroom where I took it out of its box. I then used the handy Somzi opener to cut the outermost sleeve protecting the mattress.

The mattress easily unfurled onto my bed frame, needing very little adjustments and no fluffing at all. I removed the plastic that was protecting the innermost layer – and sank into the comfort I had been waiting for all my life.

Obviously, I am a big fan of the quality foam mattress produced by Somzi. Getting restful sleep is no longer something I hope to have ‘one day’. It is a reality for me, here and now. I would highly recommend the Somzi memory foam mattress to you or anyone else who is hoping for a dream mattress-buying experience.
