My temperamental skin leaves me continually hunting for new body care products. I have eczema and it seems that after a few months of using certain moisturizers my skin will become “immune” to its effects (unless it’s 100% natural like Argan Oil) and will not penetrate the targeted areas with the same amount of strength. Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer has become a regular part of my rotating skincare regime and I’m head over heels (pun intended)!

I’ve you have ears you’ve heard of the skincare brand Vaseline®. The skincare brand has been around for over 140 years after its creator Robert Augustus Chesebrough, a 22 year-old British chemist, became intrigued by a naturally-occurring byproduct of the oil derived from sperm whales that seemed to have remarkable skin-healing properties. Fast forward a century and some decades later after numerous formula alterations and additional scientific research, the Vaseline® remains the industry leader as they continue to innovate and develop new products for today’s modern world.

The new Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer has caused a craze for easy on-the-go lotions that locks in moisture to heal dry skin and it does not disappoint. This light weight perfectly packaged spray contains micro-droplets of Vaseline® Jelly which absorbs in seconds and dispenses evenly with one all-over spray application. I tend to have a heavy hand when applying products so I have to wipe the white residue around just a bit before it disappears but that’s just me. I’m the same with my deodorants. If I can’t see huge thick white streaks under my armpits then I’m not satisfied with the application (my dark shirts hate me for it). The Aloe component seemed to calm my usually itchy skin and left it feeling soft, not at all greasy like I had anticipated. If a product is good enough for my sensitive skin then I usually give it a go on my young daughter. Savannah doesn’t have the same fussy skin but as a general precaution I try to keep most of her products all natural. I tried the spray on her and her reaction to the cool gentle mist was adorable. The new sensation put a huge smile on her face and I was greatly pleased to find that there were no loud obnoxious fumes for her to breathe in. Like most, my biggest problem area for dry skin are the heels of my feet which was where I noticed the biggest texture transformation in a week’s time. I made it a nightly ritual to thoroughly scrub my heels and feet with a Pumice Stone (a small block of lightweight, hardened lava foam that removes tough, dry, and dead skin cells), then pat dry, and generously apply the Aloe moisturizer. I covered with moisturizing socks just before bed and my results where amazing. Now summer sandal days are a breeze!

The new Vaseline® Intensive Care™ Spray Moisturizer is available in three scent options: Essential Healing, Cocoa Radiant, and Aloe Soothe as well as an unscented version in Advanced Repair. You can purchase the spray at numerous worldwide retailers such as CVS, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Amazon, and other local drugstores just to name a few for under $5 dollars. I hope you’ll try this fabulous new moisturizer and share your experience with other fans at the Vaseline® Facebook page, YouTube channel, and don’t forget to follow them on Twitter.
