A Romance Movie You’ll Remember
If I had to categorize this movie, I’d say a romantic comedy it’s the bill. Available only on Pure Flix, Heaven Sent takes you on a journey following 3 different relationship stages.
While that may be the case, there’s one that remains the focal point of the film.
You follow Elise and her grandson, Derek, as they were inseparable when Derek was just a child. But like many connections, they started to grow apart as he got older.
Elise had a rocky past life simply because she was in love, but hurting as she devoted her life to raising Derek as a child.
With Elise struggling with how they are growing apart, she’s lead to the need of finding something new to focus on. Seeing her grandson developing a budding love interest of his own, a new fear strikes Elise.
She’s afraid of going down the road of love interest at such a late stage in her life.
Now on the other side, you have Pastor Patrick, who’s equally afraid to go down that road himself. Losing his wife 5 years ago, he focuses on helping other struggling couples in struggling marriages. That is until one faithful day Pastor Patrick awkwardly lands in Elise’s store!
As you watch this movie you’ll follow their love journey amongst other love journeys including Derek.
Needless to say, there are several layers that touch all accounts of both love and relationships throughout this film!
