Is there someone you know that loves animals and you need a gift idea for them? How about Petsy? Petsy is a company that creates one-of-a-kind, custom art for the wall and it features your pet (or the pet of someone you know)!
How does Petsy work? First, you upload a photo of your pet and include some information to tell them about your pet. You can provide them with some ideas, requests, or pointers to guide them in understanding what you’d like. Once the artwork is created, you let them know if you approve. If you don’t approve, Petsy provides unlimited revisions to ensure your satisfaction. They then create your masterpiece and send it straight to you!
Petsy provides quality, unique canvas art that is created by real designers. They provide a product for you to enjoy and remember your pet. And, it comes to you mounted and ready to hang, so you can use (and admire) it immediately. They also provide fast service (typical design time is 48 hours).
Shipping is free within the United States. If you want to give Petsy as a gift, but aren’t sure about creating something yourself for the gift recipient, you can also buy gift cards so the gift recipient can create the art they would like. And, if you order now, you can get 10% off your order by using the following code: pawlidays.
I highly recommend you check out their website so you can get a better idea of what they provide! It’s quite adorable and amazing what they can design!
How Petsy Came To Be
Petsy was created by Alex & Kassy Ruimy, who are brother and sister. Initially, they were inspired by their adorable cat, named Penguino (he truly is adorable). Go here to see a picture of Penguino. Alex and Kassy made Penguino quite famous via use of the Internet. Eventually, through their experience of working with Penguino, they started to notice pet art was “bland.” So, according to the Petsy website, “Using Alex’s background as a software engineer with Kassy’s background in graphic design, we set out to create a platform that would transform photos of furry friends into a brand new, sentimental concept: Painted Love. And that’s how Petsy was born.”
