Panama City Beach to Host a Real.Fun.Fourth
With Week of All-American Festivities
It’s never too early to look ahead to exciting summer festivities on the Gulf Coast, and this year Panama City Beach is hosting a red, white and blue extravaganza with a full week of Fourth of July events. With its 27 miles of award-winning beaches, emerald water, and All-American atmosphere, Panama City Beach invites visitors of all ages to celebrate America’s independence on its sugar-white shores and enjoy a variety of events for the whole family.

Offering five nights of fireworks, Panama City Beach will present visitors with spectacular views to experience its magical displays from a variety of different locations- ranging from resorts to waterfront restaurants. Below is a list of special events, contests, and activities sure to keep guests entertained throughout the holiday week:
Light up the Bay Fireworks & Events: July 1
Visitors can head to Sheraton Bay Point Resort for a day of fun activities ranging from an aerialist show to a ukulele orchestra performance. Guests can compete in sandcastle competitions, dive in for a movie by the pool or play a round of golf. Freedom Rocks! Fireworks: July 3
Guests can head to the Grand Lagoon for a beautiful day of shopping, live music and dining at Freedom Rocks before grabbing a prime spot for the fireworks show. Firework lovers shouldn’t miss the display above the Grand Lagoon Bridge, best enjoyed with chairs and blankets on the grassy lawn at Treasure Island Marina. Veterans Memorial Ceremony: July 4
The City of Panama Beach at Aaron Bessant Park will host a Veterans Memorial Ceremony on July 4 to honor those who have served in the armed forces. Families, friends and loved ones are invited to come together to salute our county’s heroes on the most patriotic day during a special ceremony. Star Spangled Spectacular: July 4
The City of Panama City Beach hosts the largest fireworks display on the Gulf Coast on July 4 at 9 p.m. The show will feature dueling fireworks from the City (Russell-Fields) and County (M.B. Miller) Piers. Guests are invited to set up their beach chairs and encouraged to arrive early to get the best views. Summer Concert Series: Real.Fun.Fourth. Celebration: July 5
As a part of Panama City Beach’s Summer Concert Series, a free concert will be held on July 5 at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater. Guests are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy country tunes from Tobacco Road, followed by a fireworks display. Coolers, food and pets are welcome. Beach Bash & Light Up the Gulf Fireworks Show: July 6
The 12th Annual Beach Bash at Boardwalk Beach Resort is an annual favorite for guests of all ages. Throughout the holiday week, families can soak up the sunshine, savor delicious seafood and jam to live music before experiencing “Light Up the Gulf”, Panama City Beach’s largest private fireworks show taking place on July 6.
