When you look at the ingredients on your skincare products, do you know how to pronounce them? Do you even know what most of them are? Do you know where they came from? Me neither. It usually includes some sort of Wiki tutorial and the amazement that I am still using the products.
A majority of these ingredients come from crude oil. I know, it’s crazy right? Crude oil is not something you would first consider using on your skin. This harsh chemical, among many others, will eventually be absorbed. With which kind of long-term side effects, I wonder. There are plenty of things we’re told not to eat, so why should putting things such as crude oil on our skin be any different?

It’s nice to know when you come across a brand that uses natural ingredients with names we can recognize. Recently, I’ve been using an aloe vera facial toner from ALOA Skincare.
