This fun and easy Olaf Cookie Dip recipe uses everyday kitchen staples to create a delicious snack your family will love. All you need is:

  • cream cheese
  • coconut cream
  • buttermilk
  • some sugar 
  • Wilton black glitter edible gel
  • a few candy eye sprinkles
  • orange ball sprinkles

Using a stand mixer or a hand whisk, whisk together in a medium bowl the coconut cream, sugar, and cream cheese.

If you want to make it easier use a stand mixer.

Pour the dip into a bowl you will serve it in.

To make the face of Olaf, place the candy eyes onto the dip.

Use the orange ball sprinkles to make a carrot nose.

Use black glitter edible gel to draw on the mouth, eyebrows, and hair at the top.

And don’t forget to leave a place empty in the mouth to look like Olaf’s tooth.

Serve with cookies or crackers. In about 15 minutes, you’ll have a fun holiday snack that’s sure to become a new favorite with your kids!

HOW DO I STORE OLAF COCONUT DIP?

You can store Olaf Coconut Dip in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 5 days. 

WHAT CAN I USE IF I DON’T HAVE BUTTERMILK?

You can easily make some homemade buttermilk by combining milk with an acid like lemon juice or vinegar.

The ratio for making buttermilk from scratch is 1 cup of milk with 1 teaspoon of something acidic.

You can always use the leftovers from this recipe to make some yummy buttermilk pancakes. 

CAN I MAKE OLAF COCONUT DIP AHEAD OF TIME?

Yes, you can easily make this yummy Olaf Coconut Dip the day before serving.

Simply keep the dip stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container until you are ready to serve.

The steps will be pretty much the same. Using coconut cream gives this recipe a coconutty taste.

WHAT COOKIES ARE GOOD TO SERVE WITH THIS DIP?

I would suggest serving kid-friendly holiday cookies like gingerbread men, sugar cookies, shortbread, sandwich cookies, holiday-themed Oreo cookies, etc.

You could even get creative and serve cookies in the shape of reindeer, snowflakes, and even Frozen characters!

WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS OLAF COCONUT DIP RECIPE?

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup real coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (if you want extra sweetness)
  • black glitter edible gel wilton
  • 2 candy eye sprinkles
  • 10 orange ball sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Whisk together in a medium bowl the coconut cream, sugar, and cream cheese. If you want to make it easier use a hand mixer.
  2. Add dip to a bowl.
  3. Place the eyes into the dip.
  4. Make the nose out of the orange sprinkles.
  5. Draw on the mouth and be sure to leave a place for the tooth.
  6. Add eyebrows and hair at the top.
  7. Serve with cookies or crackers.
