When it comes to designing our perfect bathroom, it can feel like we have little space for all our belongings. After all, we have so many items that need to go in the bathroom. But are you using all the areas of the bathing quarters? A lot of people make an error by forgetting to make the most of those hidden areas of the room. In fact, here are some ways you can ensure you are utilizing all of your bathroom! That way, you won’t be moaning about little space in your bathroom again.
Don’t forget about the room underneath the sink
A lot of people forget about the area underneath the sink when they are running out of space. But it could be a fantastic area to build a cupboard where you can keep your items. And then you can just open the cupboard to find the essential item while you are in the bathroom. And it will clear some of the sides meaning you will have some extra room. You can either build a storage cupboard to sit around the sink, or you could swap your current sink for a vanity unit instead. That way, it will have the storage already built-in to hold all your belongings. And with one of these, it will ensure you are making the most of every space possible in your backyard.
Go for a shower enclosure in the corner
You should also make sure you are using the corners in the bathroom. After all, a lot of people don’t actually use these and keep them bare. But it could be a great place for your shower. In fact, you could get a corner shower cubicle to fit in this space. And this will be very handy when it comes to saving some space. You can find a wealth of shower enclosures to suit any bathroom online. And these are much easier to clean as well, so it’s worth considering one for the bathroom. Also, you could make the most of your bathroom by opting to get a free standing corner storage unit. It will be excellent to hold all your items and won’t take up any additional space if it lives in the corner.
Use the window sills in your bathroom
A lot of people leave their window sills empty in the bathroom. But they would make an excellent place to add some storage. For example, you could line up a few quirky jam jars which you can put some toiletries in that you need in the bathroom. Or you could even get a soap dispenser and a toilet brush holder to put on the window sill. And if you have little room, you could still use the space by adding a couple of cute ornaments. For example, if you are doing a beach theme, you could put a couple of shells and boats on the window sill to fit your cool theme!
And remember you could always use the bath ledge to put some of your essentials too. For example, it would be an ideal place to put a few towels if you have no room for a towel rack!
