Are you looking for a new family game that will spark curiosity? Most people love to debate a good topic. Debating is a good way to see a different perspective, a different viewpoint. It challenges our mind to see things differently.  SMOSH, the #2 rated comedy channel on Youtube with over 22 million subscribers, has officially launched their own game called Master Debaters. After becoming known for their hilarious and wild videos they decided to create a game that would give fans a laugh at home.

Master Debaters is a new game of epic arguments where people debate the most pressing issues facing our country: “Is a spork more spoon or fork?” or “Are full denim suits socially acceptable?”. Players go head to head to settle these, and other silly, mindless, and fascinating questions once and for all. It will be fun. It will be loud. And it will be a game of sticky situations. It can be purchased in-store and online at Target. The object of the game is to collect the most MasterDebater Cards by winning debates against your opponents.

Each debate will have one Judge and two Debaters. The remaining players will be the Jury. The Judge determines who will debate that round by randomly drawing two cards from the Number Card pile. The two Debates are the players whose numbers were chosen. Each MasterDebater Card has two opinions and each player will be given a side to defend. Who argues which opinion is determined by a chip flip. Either Debater can flip the chip. Each stage of the debate beings once the Judge has set the Mechanical Timer. Each debate consists of two parts: Opening Arguments and Open Debate. The winner is determined by the Judge. The Jury’s vote is just a suggestion. The winner should be judged on the quality and conviction of their arguments.
