When you take the time to brush your hair before you go to bed you are distributing your natural hair oils throughout your hair. These oils keep your hair moisturized and nourished.

What you eat plays a big part in the health of your hair and every organ in your body. When you eat the right foods you give your body what it needs for hair growth. The best foods for hair growth are fish, beans, nuts, and whole-grain foods. You want your diet to be high in protein with heart-healthy proteins like fish, skinless chicken, and other lean meats. You also want plenty of omega-3 fatty acids in your diet and you get those from fish. Add vitamins like A, C, E and minerals like zinc by eating whole-grain foods and fruits and vegetables. Remember to eat the food as close to its natural state as possible. So eat a pear but avoid pears packed in syrup in a can.

     5. Stop Styling with heat

     6. Stop washing your hair every day

 

You should not shampoo your hair more than two or three times per week. If you are shampooing your hair every day you are stripping the natural oils out of the hair and damaging the hair. You need to establish a shampoo schedule that allows at least one day in between each shampoo session.

 

     7. Comb Wet Hair Gently

 

When your hair is wet it is vulnerable. If you are vigorously brushing your hair while it is wet then you are damaging your hair and slowing your growth progress.

Your hair is unique to you. The amount of time that it takes hair to grow out is directly linked to your health and well-being. If you are stressed, eating fast food more than anything else, missing sleep, and burning the candle at both ends your hair will grow slower.
